Humbling. This epitomises what I think the pursuit of climbing is about- the satisfaction of mastery of a skill through dedication. Thanks for making this film
Way to go Nik! A heart-warming account of your success, a reality check for those of us who don't have to face the same challenges that you do. We know your determination will help you to keep fighting. Steve and Anita.
As is said in the video, you can overcome your disability. If anything, your disability is your strength, and by being the way you are, you can inspire people. I'm Autistic (albeit on the very light end), and am very musical, and my autism is a great help because I'm expanding my horizons by picking up new musical instruments. And had it not been for Dave, none of this might have happened, and although he's gone, he's not forgotten.
Hi, Nick just heard you on radio city, can I please ask why doing this is so important ? I mean its obviously very good to have a hobby and I can see why people find you inspiring. Forgive me if I am wrong but I seams you are trying to prove that you can achieve everything that able bodied people can do when a lot of people with your condition can't. You don't need to prove a point, or are you trying to push your own personal boundary's if that makes sense ? please don't read this as a insult as it is by far not intended to be.
