- We visited the Rupes booth at SEMA 2023 to check out the new Rupes HLR 21 6" Random Orbital Polisher. Todd Helm of Rupes USA educated Jeff Davis of The Detailer's Lounge on how the new creation is going to be a great option for professional auto detailers.

Just preordered one, can't wait to get it in my hands!
Larry Kosilla making a guest appearance behind you at 5:12 😅
Is he saying the 2024 version of the mini HLR75 has less vibration and even more power than the 2023 version? Nobody is talking about this if it is true. I'd like to see comparisons.
I bought the 2023 model. I thought the trigger was the only difference? If the 2024 has more power, I wish I would have waited.
Great interview! I cannot wait to get my hands on the HLR15. Been using the nano for a while. I think these are so well thought out and designed. They want to make tools we can use and not have any physical effects. Coming from the Porter Cable, these tools are light years beyond it. Not that the Porter Cable isn’t a great machine. But it will absolutely rattle your hands and arms.

I definitely understand where you are coming from. Thanks for watching!
Well done my brother!! 😎 Solid coverage! 👊🏽👊🏽
Appreciate the support Bro!

Yes sah OG!
I don't care too much for cordless, but if I did I can't imagine passing up one of the Shinemate offerings for this.
The ibrid nano needs a revision. It's been out for six years.
ya only want it for its carbon fiber design, dewalt xr DA is 100x better aswell as Milwaukee and Flex
How do you know? It isn't even available for you to make that simple-minded statement. You have no idea what it's like, but somehow think dumb talk supersedes actual knowledge. It doesn't.
Rupes and Flex, then Milwaukee. I’ve used the Milwaukee, was very nice but loud as hell vibrated like crazy and was heavy. It’s a lot cheaper sure, but this Rupes should be better on every other level.
I guess if you're a mobile pro, but $700 is not cheap - especially for an enthusiast.
True…there are cheaper versions on the market though. Rupes is known for quality but you will pay much more.
@@TheDetailersLounge Just saying for the cordless models. I just bought a corded 5" Mark I as an enthusiast. Even a Mark III is a bit high dollar if you only decon your car 4 times a year or so.
I bought the HLR15 and it well be my first polisher as noob.
A great one to start with!
Looks like a Bosch battery?
These rupes machines are the best on the market they are very expensive but boy are they good id love one but for £700 that's expensive
I used to have a mark 2 but it fell out of my truck between jobs. Bought a griots to replace it because I didn’t feel like spending the money. It’s decent but nowhere near as good as the rupes. As soon as I saw pre order live for this machine I ordered. I know it’s going to be a very well built machine
3 milwaukees for that price

We appreciate the support!
Did they talk about MSRP
It’s going to be between $700-$800 depending on what the package comes with. It’s on a couple websites already for pre-order.
@@TheDetailersLounge Thanks. I’m not a pro detailer at this point, so I guess I will stick with my Griot’s G-9. Did you notice that Larry Kosilla of Ammo NYC walked behind you as you were doing your video?
@@toddhayes7031 I feel you. Nothing wrong with Griots. They all get the job done. Crazy how Larry walks by like that though.🤣 The guy has 2 million subscribers. Maybe it was a sign from God saying The Detailer’s Lounge is on the way. 🙏🏾
no 5" backing plate?
Correct there is no 5" backing plate.
@@TheDetailersLounge thankfully there is one on the HLR15.
