Glad he’s with my NYJ. Hes gonna be the first QB to walk in to this franchise with a HOF QB and a good back up QB to learn from while being able to learn the game and practice with zero pressure. Excited for him. Hearing him talk about the DBs back being to him means the guy is open, throwing the ball low to keep your receiver safe just gets me excited. His foot work is good and his accuracy is good. He is starting out much better than guys of the past with much more time to learn
How they got him I'll never know. Had he not gotten that injury he would have gone in the 1st and they would have not been able to draft him. I guess it was meant to be. Finally. But they should have taken him in the 4th and not taken a chance waiting till the 5th. I hope he isn't allowed to play a single down this year, not even in pre-season. Allow that leg to heal 1000%, then give him the team in '25 with a good offensive coach to tutor him. Someone like Ben Johnson.
I'm sure there are valid reasons for all the edits and cuts, but would love to just get the unedited, full length interview of your great and insightful conversation with Jordan Travis
This kid is a legend. Absolute leader and winner. And a class act. So thankful he played for my Noles and that we have guys like him and Norvell and Warrick Dunn representing my university.
He was awesome at FSU. A winner from his very first spring game it was obvious how electric he was. Somebody is going to get an outstanding player and going man. I'll always be a fan and cheer him on. Nole for life!
Jordan Travis to me is the greatest quarterback in Florida state's history I believe the accolades don't really tell the tale I believe that the push that he gave our program the way he stood strong and stood by us through it all. When you think of the climb you think of Jordan Travis go Noles and thank you coach Mike Norvell
Welcome to the Jets and ready to learn from a GOAT in Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers going to turn him into a monster in the league and for our Jets. One of the steals of the draft…
Listen how smart he is. he said when he threw in that tight window he threw it low because the safety was coming and he didn't want him to catch his WR up high and hit him in the head. nothing like G string Jimmy who was getting our WR'S hurt Concussions. hope the RAIDERS draft this kidd let him set learn and get healthy
5:10 So here's my question: Yes, of course if you *do* fit it in there, it's 20 yards, successful play, and a ridiculous throw. But why would we consider that a good read? Why do we want a quarterback to*attempt* absurdly low-percentage throws? Note that I'm pointing this out not because he made those decisions all the time, just that I'm in this vid at this moment and I remembered that kind of thought as I've heard commentary on other "great throws" that I thought shouldn't have been made at all.
Well I think it depends on the angle you take in terms of perspective The positive angle is that no matter the down and distance this guy has shown he has the confidence and the ability to fit it into tight windows vs the alternative where you’re living with a check down every time on third and long The negative spin is the other side of it where he’s attempting these throws regardless of down and distance
It wasn't a bad read. It was a perfect read and throw that he can make. The DBs back was turned and he knew where to place it to protect his receiver. There was no way that ball was getting picked off as the DB was trying hard to keep up with Keon Coleman. At worst the DB dives and sticks his hand out without knowing where the ball is and the ball gets deflected to the ground. Jordan has the feel for this and placed the ball in perfectly with the perfect zip. You can't compare everybody to everybody. Great qbs display a great feel for the game. Not a bad read at all.
I know it's a season away but with the ugly UGA bowl game narrative out here can't begin to emphasize how important it is to win the Bama game in 25' the SEC needs to be shut up so hard we are all so tired of the bullshit narrative FSU can't beat the best SEC schools despite just thumping LSU 2x in a row
I'm a Noles fan and a big fan of Travis in college (and yes, if the committee didn't screw us and ruin college football, we would've made a natty run), but I'm just NOT a fan of him as a pro prospect. He plays "f***k it and chuck it" and "one read and run" way too much and a lot of his issues were masked by Keon Koleman and the other big receivers having ridiculous catch radii.
There are guys that come around every so often that you just know with any opportunity under pressure they are going to win way more often than not. JT is one of those guys. 🍢🍢

I bet a lot of them were cutting out "ums" or pauses while he thought about an answer
Bradyn Wolf from Citrus County Florida of Lecanto … better study “Jordan Travis” Quarterback
Damn, a prett big name guy. In a couple of years gonna be interviewing potential top 5’s
This kid is a legend. Absolute leader and winner. And a class act. So thankful he played for my Noles and that we have guys like him and Norvell and Warrick Dunn representing my university.
Cmon Raiders! Please get this kid!
All time favorite QB! Been watching FSU since I was 10. 35 now. Jordan Travis is the realist!

Sure going to miss you JT at FSU! Wish you nothing but the best in your future! God Bless You!
Great player and so damn humble!! After watching this I’m sure he killed his interviews - maybe solidified as a day 2 pick?
He’ll be later in the draft
TO THE RAIDER NATION 🎉
Love JT so much. Really helped turn FSU into a contender
In my opinion it's much larger than that, Jordan Travis and Mike Norvell saved our program.
@@jamesb0255 definitley won’t deny that. Mike Norvell changed the culture and helped create a brotherhood that we had lacked for years
Jordan is gonna find his way on to a team and be a starter within 3 years, mark my words
that's my QB!
I love Jordan Travis! Thank you for being a NOLE!
Welcome to the Jets Jordan
Jordan Travis is gonna make an NFL team very happy
We love you, JT!! Thank you for helping FSU rise from the ashes and getting us back to the top. Wishing well in your future indeavors.
Love Jordan! Great player and great dude.
I'd mark Travis as the next day two star. (if he falls)
He could be the steal of the draft for the Jets!
Watching this guy in college was something else. I have a feeling he's going to outperform his draft pick, maybe by a lot
Gotta appreciate a podcast that has great audio on the road. Most are scuffed and have the same basic ass boring questions
Raiders!
Could become the Jordan Love of this draft

Hope the Raiders grab this guy in the 2nd/3rd round
Curious to see if the jets might take a shot on a guy like this to sit a couple years behind our QBs
🎯
And he definitely is 🎯 Jets up ⬆️ welcome JT
I hope you put a parlay on this
@@lilrjswag I did not if I did he wouldn’t have been drafted by us lol
I love Jordan Travis. Why did we just trade for Desmond Ridder 😢
GO NOLES THANK YOU 13
I would love to see this guy be Matt Stafford's backup, sit behind him a year or two, and come out ready to knock heads and take names
Go Big Noles!!
As a biased FSU fan,
JT-13 is him
Welcome to the Jets and ready to learn from a GOAT in Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers going to turn him into a monster in the league and for our Jets. One of the steals of the draft…
Mahalo JT13. Go Noles.
Let’s go jets
Everyone torched LSU's secondary.....
Who started it tho?
Listen how smart he is. he said when he threw in that tight window he threw it low because the safety was coming and he didn't want him to catch his WR up high and hit him in the head. nothing like G string Jimmy who was getting our WR'S hurt Concussions. hope the RAIDERS draft this kidd let him set learn and get healthy
Might make a decent back up. Gg
Is he going into this draft?
He’s a super senior, so yes.
Best qb in Florida, after Jameis winstion. Go Noles

The safety is completely turned around. You have to make that throw if you think you can

Steelers developmental QB please! Russ and Pickett will probably not be on the roster next season.
Everyone might not remember him in 5 years, but the 850 will go to war about him for the next 500
Including us Jets fans added to that 850 now! 💯
Have him breakdown where he ran into the end zone against Miami and got lucky the safety wasn’t called
Bronco

5th round at best all that philosophical soft shit ain’t gonna get you drafted any higher 😂😂
If no injury I like late 2 early 3rd
You mad your team is 💩
I'm so psyched this guy is playing for the Jets
