@@idkwhattohaveasausername5828What do you mean modern figures have that problem? That's been an issue for decades. Heck, I have some of the very first Lego Star Wars figures from '99 with cracked torsos because of that.
I have so many great figs that have cracked over the years and it makes me crazy! I decide to keep them apart a long time ago because of this reason. 🤷🏼♂️😁 Gotta do it!
Two or Three of those trailers converted with bogies and maybe Jacobs bogies if you do three then pulled by my BNSF train...NOW THAT WOULD BE SHEER CLASS. Cant wait to see it but I bet hundreds of train fans are planning that conversion RIGHT NOW.
Looks great, but not $100 great. Sure the price per piece seems good, considering the big printed panels, but the complete product seems too small for a hundred dollars. Good you got it with a discount. 75 is a fair price imho. 80 max.
Tbh you deserve more views btw thanks for the review im planning to buy it and place it next to the lego store so it will look like they are restocking sets
I was told by someone else that those big sides was going to be stickers glad they not this a full on lego set if they want to promote there own ndme you print it all.😅 3 stickers i seen 2 on the hotdog sign not sure where the 3rd sticker is though.
I don't want to be a nitpicker but regarding your speaking you sound like a robot(in other words your speaking between "scenes" is choppy) but your voice as such is good and in my opinion you have good potential, but what I said spoils it, in my opinion it would be better to soften the transitions(not criticizing, just saying where it can be improved)
Hey. I appreciate the constructive feedback. I am still relatively new and learning. I will definitely consider this feedback as I am always trying to improve!
The printed yellow bricks on the plate are again a completely different yellow than the actually LEGO brick have. The print looks cheap. For 100$ they could at least get the right color they were going for. I don’t understand how LEGO still is struggling so much while alternative brands can match the colors in prints perfectly while being cheaper. This is a 80$ truck at max. To the sidebuilds: I get the forklift but why did the set need a Hot Dog stand with accessories? It just ups the price for something most people don’t want. It would have been a way better idea to sell the Hot Dog stand as a 10$ set ! Cheap 10$ sets are always welcome and the truck would be cheaper ! Who decides this crap ?! They clearly never heard about selling strategies.
This set is amazing. For Lego city standards the attention to detail is insane! Yet, you decide you only want to look for the negative. I don't get it. Ever time a Lego set comes out regardless of how good or bad it is, there is ALWAYS something bad/wrong about it. Like... why can't you at least appreciate the positives of the set. It's always the "This set has too many stickers" "Too overpriced" "Blah Blah Blah". I'm not saying you have to like every set but if you're gonna always looking for the bad in a set, than that's exactly what your gonna get.
@@chill5730 and what I don’t get is I am supposed to just pay 100 fing dollar for that and overlook the problems of the set ? LEGO is the selveproclaimed best quality toy and yet they have so many easy to fix problems. All of a sudden I am the problem because I expect a product without flaws from a premium company where I pay a hefty premium price for ? Sadly the community is full of suckers who only praise the good and downtalk or straight up ignore the obvious problems. That’s why LEGO won’t change for the better. They could do better and they did many things better in the past but they won’t as long as there are enough people like you who never complain about anything. Problems like bad printing need to be addressed and LEGO needs competition so they have to improve. Right now they are just doing the required minimum. Good thing there are some alternative brands rising strong.
@@chill5730 btw I never said the truck is bad. Actually the set itself is fine. It has obvious problems that you shouldn’t get from a premium manufacturer and the Hot Dog stand while good is unneeded and better off as a standalone set. The main complaint is the high price. You can’t tell me that this price isn’t to high. It could have been avoided. LEGO sometimes just randomly overprices sets and this one took the short end straw + the additional Hot Dog stand ups the price. I have a LEGO shop and sold LEGO for many years. I know exactly what regular buyers want and what prices people are willing to pay for. Regular customers not fans (like you probably). You can’t measure how good a set is by fans. Fans will buy anything from LEGO for any price. And Im personally not a fan btw. I just work with LEGO as the product. I look at it objectively solely as a thing I work with. And lastly my customers tell me what they don’t like about a set and what they expected to be better.
The hotdog stand was probably put there because it released in Costco first
Awesome that Costco had these out early - Can't wait to get my hands on this LEGO set and build it for my channel - Nice job on the review
Thanks!
Finally, an respactable lego truck!
Why didn't you connect your minifigures properly?
For real 😭
Because modern minifigs have the problem of cracking the torso under their arms if the legs are left in for an extended time

How did I not think of that?! I'm totally doing that!
@@masterbuilder183 I was already planning on using my soon to exist fictional railroad to haul these on a flatcar! LEGO MINDS THINK ALIKE!

Thanks

Agreed! Glad we ran across it on sale!
It is a lot bigger than the previous one released over ten years ago.
3:17 why aren’t they fully attached to their legs?
I am doing a short video on that soon to cover this question I keep getting! Stay tuned… 🙂
Alrighty
This is the kind of set that will only get more valuable as time passes. I can see this tripling in price in 20 years. Great that you got it on sale!
Agreed! The Lego House Insider Tour gift in 2016 was a similar truck and it’s over $2k at this point.
@@BrickCountryCrew Wow! This set is one that'll always be popular.
Someone who made this set is a genius and needs a bonus payment for sure
Definitely agree!
First time I have seen one of your videos, great review. My question is why do you not push the legs all the way up into the torso?
You're right. That's an interesting choice.
I do it so my mini figures won’t develop cracks. Thanks for watching!
This would pair great with the mini scale set from the opening of the dublin lego store.
Nice!

Thanks! And that’s a great plan for it!
WOW inflation be mad wild
the truck,s cab design looks alot like a kenworth truck out of legos
How much is this cost?
I paid $75 USD at Costco but Lego will have it for $100 USD
Not legs landing gear
The part that allows "wiggling" is the fifth wheel. I had to. Ima trucker. I was going crazy lol
Thanks for helping me out! 😁
we need a lego store build to go with this.
but I love ur custom one
Thanks! But I agree that an official one would be awesome!
They're are official sets they're just small set 40574 as well as 40528
Pls connect the minifigures properly?! Otherwise great vid, and epic set!

Only $75! Costco has great deals!
Will this be a retail set?
Yes June 1st in the US!

Costco had it available and on sale! 😁
Wait what when did this come out? 😂😂
It doesn’t release until June 1st but I grabbed one at Costco early! 🎉🎉

How can I get one
I found it early at my local Costco. But it will be releasing from lego.com June 1st
