By the way, MLK was a Republican but when the Kennedys assisted in securing his release from a jail and JFK made the call to Mrs. Coretta Scott King who was pregnant at the time, MLK Sr (aka Daddy King) was elated and said he had a "suitcase full of votes" for JFK who was running for president at the time. Nixon wanted to make the call but listened to Eisenhower and it cost him the presidency. A great book to read is called King & Kennedy - it's the untold alliance between these two men re: civil rights. I watched this life on black and white TV and looking at Life magazine. I also remember teaching literature using "The Once and Future King" when a parent objected to it containing the n word. They missed the fact that it used to teach against racism.

By the way, MLK was a Republican but when the Kennedys assisted in securing his release from a jail and JFK made the call to Mrs. Coretta Scott King who was pregnant at the time, MLK Sr (aka Daddy King) was elated and said he had a "suitcase full of votes" for JFK who was running for president at the time. Nixon wanted to make the call but listened to Eisenhower and it cost him the presidency. A great book to read is called King & Kennedy - it's the untold alliance between these two men re: civil rights. At times, it was contentious but both men understood that the freedom of the country was at stake and worked together for the greater good. God bless them all!

There was not racial divide from the 70s up until Obama started telling us that racism was alive and everywhere! Though, he, as a black man was Senator and President! Watch the TV in those decades,, did you see racism? I went to school in a dangerous city in NY, graduated in the 80s,, and not once in my schools growing up was there ANY racial issues! We were all friends, and color wasn't seen! Until Obama got in,, and Michelle claimed that she was not a proud American until her husband was voted in. Then I started to see the shift! By this time I was a cop in the very city I was raised,, and began to see what appeared to be an emboldened air among the black community! As if they now had a 'free pass" to do whatever they wanted,, as well as reverse racism became a very noticeable and now I believe common practice! Because we now have the Democrats and the media constantly drilling that white supremacy is very much alive and thriving! Though!! They can't show any examples! But, if you say it enough times, people believe it! This is what is causing descension among the races,, the Marxist steps the Dems are using to take total power of OUR Government and our lives!! By keeping us all at each other's throats while they get away with totally deleting our culture, history, way of life,, as well as opening our border to totally tear this country down from the inside! The 'squad' has actually said this is the plan in so many words! First time I ever cried over a political ad. It was amazing!
I was six when President Kennedy was murdered. I was 8 when Malcolm X was murdered. I was 11 when Martin Luther King and Bobby Kennedy were murdered. I remember exactly where I was every single time. I cried for Martin and for Bobby. I didn't understand everything that was going on, but Bobby Kennedy made me a democrat. Bill Clinton, Barack Obama & Hillary Clinton and finally Ron Paul, 6:53 made me a Republican. I am so proud of Robert Kennedy my heart just about burst knowing his father and his uncle would both endorse his decision!

I wish he had run more ads like this before. He never should have apologized for the Super Bowl ad. He has every right to claim that legacy. He’s the only Kennedy who really matters who is still alive.
Of course Jr. is "allegedly" alive, in protective custody (announced gone in 1999, but never found). A person was asked to scratch their nose if Jr. was still alive, and he did, during a live Skype interview. Also you have David Straight who says he is alive still, and I think he even said he was on a helicopter with him once, not that long ago. Imagine the shock and the effect it would have on people to have someone come back. It hasn't been safe for him to do so, but I can see it happening at some point.
