BombardA strategic bomber is a medium to long range penetration bomber designed to drop large amounts of air-to-ground weaponry onto a distant target for the purposes of debilitating the enemy's capacity to wage war. Unlike tactical bombers, penetrators, fighter-bombers, and attack aircraft, which are used in air interdiction operations to attack enemy combatants and military equipment, strategic bombers are designed to fly into enemy territory to destroy strategic targets (e.g., infrastructure, logistics, military installations, factories, and cities). In addition to strategic bombing, strategic bombers can be used for tactical missions. The United States, Russia, and China maintain strategic bomberseiros

Damn, I am as American as they come and love our Air Forces......
but shit, these Ruskies have some of the most beautiful and badass planes out there. Hands down.
Actually they are pretty much all useless and WAY outdated when it comes to fighting a high end war. I spent over 10 years in the US army, but my older brother is a F-15E pilot. First off those aircraft don't have anything compared to the US bomber/fighter bombers in terms of sensors and avionics. Plus Russia doesn't have anything that is able to penetrate an area that is defended. Whereas the US has aircraft like thee B2, B1, F-22 and F-35 that can penetrate air defense systems. The Bear is nothing more than big, fat slow target. The T-160 can only stay back and launch cruise missiles. Also Russia doesn't have a many presicion strike bombs and targeting pods.
Yes, we are aware that the US, spend 10 times more on defense than we do. And all the countries of the alliance are almost 20 times larger. But nevertheless, the planes of the coalition are afraid of flying across the river in Syria. And about your electronics, Donald Cook, was successfully completely turned off, by an old bomber.
