been watching the progress of this game for a good 4 years now, its just insane that we went from barely being able to go ingame to the game running at 5fps on the best systems to actually being playable at twice the native framerate. its just impressive
I was browsing around to check if i should get this game to run with Xenia or RPCS3 and i found you of all people using an all out AMD build, i have to say that was quite surprising oO.
I've found, especially for RPCS3, Radeon's lower GPU driver overhead is usually beneficial for both AMD and Intel CPUs. A Ryzen/GeForce combination is usually the worst pairing for RPCS3 performance, Ryzen/Radeon is better, while Intel/Radeon rips, and a 5GHz+ 12900K Intel with AVX512 enabled + Radeon GPU is still the GOAT for RPCS3, usually outperforming both Ryzen 7000 series and Intel 13th/14th gen.
Nice 👍 Do most Xbox games runs well on Xenia now (1080p 60FPS)? I notice you have high PC specs, is this needed to run these games on Xenia, or can much more modest hardware achieve this?
My hardware is a bit overkill to run Xenia. Modest hardware should have no problem running games at native resolution or 1080p and 60fps). What really makes a difference in performance is whether your CPU supports AVX 512 or not. This specific instruction greatly increases performance in Xenia and RPCS3, but it is not always necessary.
@@aruantec Oh that is good to hear, I have i7 8700 but just checked and no AVX 512. But I also have a GTX 1080 which is usually good for other emulators like Yuzu etc. So maybe I should give Xenia a try finally. I heard that it doe'st have GUI, so I was a bit put off, but I think it might be worth a try to play games like this one, especially since I will only run at 1080p and hopefully get decent performance still. @@aruantec Correction (for the future), RPCS3 benefits from AVX 512 (although i'm still pleased with how my AVX2 performance is as well), Xenia just needs AVX2, and unlike RPCS3 it uses more GPU power then CPU, you need at least a 970GTX as an entry point at the very least with Xenia :p.
Amigo dime algo, de verdad no se si sea una configuración o de que se trate para que vaya a esos fps, sinceramente me doy con que corra en HD de gráficos no mas, tengo una Lenovo Legión Go de grafica rdna 3, de verdad no sabes cuanto tiempo e buscado en poder jugarlo asi pero no lo logro, podrías compartir el truco o consejo para lograrlo, te lo agradecería demasiado
Hola! creo que es el CPU y en realidad tengo mucho tiempo que no pruebo el juego. Voy a ver si lo cargo nuevamente y te escribo la configuración pero recuerdo que no usé nada diferente.
Dame una señal y descargo de una vez Xenia y midnight club los angeles de xbox 360, no se si tengas una versión en especial para descargarlo, la verdad se ve precioso en tu equipo, ya quisiera que el mío vaya así
@@infotec_hthe game is very demanding I believe. Also I had the wrong version at first and the patch didn't worked which may be your case. Also make sure to disable VSYNC.

Camera movement is weird in 60 FPS. It looks like Gran Turismo or Ridge Racer!

Default settings. The only things I did was apply the 60fps patch and increased the resolution to 4k.
How I can change the resolution?
@@Miguel21xedit the config file and look for "draw_resolution_scale_x = 1" set that number to 2, 3 and so on. Do the same for draw_resolution_scale_y.
@@aruantec New to emulators. How do I add patches to Xenia? I've done it with PCSX2
Finally got it running. I was running Master build instead Canary version of Xenia. Only Xenia Canary allows patches
WHAT IS YOUR GPU AND PROCESSOR?
It's always in my hashtags (RX 7900XTX GPU and 7800X3D CPU and 32GB DDR5 Ram)
