The action was good, but the plot holes are unforgivable. All characters did stupid stuff to move the action plot. They completely forgot about the switched bag. Smh.
What are you talking about about? They payed off the switched bag as being the reason the bag had to be put in the cargo hold and not above Batemans head
@JAce94007 I guess they left it up to deduction. He only had seconds to place the ribbon, so how would he move the bomb that fast? Then the bomb was fitted to the suitcase, so it would have been loose in the case. Just sloppy writing that killed the movie for me. That was just one in many of the failed plot holes. The blue haired girl, why did his wife run in the street in front of the van, why would you shoot someone driving on the freeway, and many more.
Please help me: he swapped the suitecases and at the same time didnt? Or did He Put the bomb in another suitcase. I dint get it. Like the movie but this triggers me.
I loved this movie, reminds me of just a fun movie. Not fast and furious crazy and not marvel superhero. Simple 90s and it works. Just fun. I miss this type of movie. Saw other reviews saying “it’s not unique enough, not breaking ground, didn’t do anything new, using old story arcs” - LOOK I don’t need such a complex story. We have so many shows and movies and Christopher Nolan doing that. We need basic good stories. We don’t need groundbreaking which probably would suck. This is good. Really good. I’m going to rewatch. Need more movies like this. Simplicity as you said, movies don’t need to be too hard. Also just know the director. Did great fun movies but this movie with the fun factor is because of the music score, director and director of photography!! The tone was great. Make more simple movies with great music backgrounds and DPs and a good Vision of directors, we can make new movies like it was in 90s. Lastly when we lose the believability of the last act, the reason why it got not as good… it’s not the movie… it’s running out of money. How many movie have you watched where first half or major stunts are amazing but have missing pieces or seems rushed. Anyways. Loved it.
I enjoyed it quite a bit. It lacked some brutality maybe. However, the plan of the terror-mercenary seemed a bit too complicated to even consider it being pulled off like that. Too many human factors due to people forced into going with it. But I guess that goes for most DH-style flicks.
I enjoyed this movie.
I really enjoyed this movie. Constant action once it gets going.
Let’s go! Thanks for watching!

I think the writer wanted a
young Maclane for the script but changed it to this movie. Feels like a Die hard alot

This movie is not a winner, ugh, it was so bad.
The plot holes are crazy lol. They completely forgot about the switched bag twist.
Well, Ethan is no John McClain, but the movie was pretty good anyway. Yippie Kiyeah MF👍👍
Just finished watching it. Loved it. Good old 90s throwback kind of film.
