It only took them 10 years to do something with an entire dimension! I really hope they improve the fog changes between biomes, it's super jarring haha

Hey phil! The nether trees grow from the fungi in the new biomes. You can bonemeal them. Also the netherite ore does spawn around y20 and below but its INSANELY rare
@@Kryptenize that's not how tools work, if you plate a pencil in gold and snap it over your desk the pencil breaks with the gold. Not to mention for meta reasons having meteorite work like that isnt good for balancing.

But still, if you damage a netherite tool it doesn't leave the diamond unharmed, if this comment were to be slightly more realistic then maybe youd get back a diamond sword heavily damaged. This is because diamonds trapped inside of netherite would be weaker honestly. Picture a metal bell, if they are forged poorly they accumulate cracks when rung due to the vibrations, that's what would be happening to the diamonds inside the netherite, but worse, every time someone gets hit or hits someone.
An idea I had: Mojang should add Soul Lava to the Soul Sand Valley. The bright orange lava kind of ruins the aesthetic of the biome. It could also have the ability to flow like water in the Overworld to make it more than a cosmetic change. The problem is that I don't really know what an interaction between Soul and OG lava would be like. Maybe form stone, maybe form obsidian, maybe not do anything, idk. Another thing they could add is basalt to the Overworld and a few basalt-themed blocks. Maybe have polished basalt, like with the other stone types, or maybe even basalt bricks (make it have the stone brick texture but with a darker color. Would look very cool), and the obvious basalt walls (especially now that they have fixed the spacing between walls when stacked)

Phil, the nether roof, being inside the soulsand valley makes ghast have a 50% spawnrate chance, making it an awesome way to farm gunpowder AND ghasttears at the same time for regen pots and end crystals ^^
Imagine fighting the Wither Boss in the Crimson Forest with intense choir and orchestra music playing and you’re surrounded by lava with ghasts roaming the air and then you’d see the lava swirls in the air. That would be the definition of *epic*

The reason portal link above the nether ceiling is because they introduce 3D biome for the nether, you can now switch biome by going down and up which was never possible before
Maybe They've added the new super powerful armour and tools to help fight against a new nether boss they're going to add at a later point? A nether boss which the bones belong to, or which has created the bones?
I sense a nerf coming... By the way, I suggest watching Xisuma's 1.16 video. Netherrite is very, very, very rare and is found below lava pools. Also, if you need a gold farm, you don't have to make a Pigman farm. Natural drowned and zombie spawner drowned farms are viable alternatives if you don't need industrial amounts of gold.
