But if this LP came out today it would be heavier and much more raw sounding. Because today the guitars are quite a bit heavier than they were in the 70's.

@@watchbizmatik en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AC/DC 🏏 Malcolm and Angus Young developed the idea for the band's name after their sister, Margaret Young, saw the initials "AC/DC" on the AC adapter of a sewing machine. "AC/DC" is an abbreviation meaning "alternating current/direct current" electricity. The brothers felt that this name symbolised the band's raw energy, power-driven performances of their music.[20][21] "AC/DC" is pronounced one letter at a time, though the band are colloquially known as "Acca Dacca" in Australia.[22][23] The AC/DC band name is stylised with a high voltage sign separating the "AC" and "DC" and has been used on all studio albums, with the exception of the international version of Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap.

Funny how songs that I initially did not like, later become one of my faves. I distinctly remember going to my older brothers friends house and wanting to record "Let There Be Rock" onto cassette tape (ya... back in the 70's) Anyway, I did NOT want to record the guitar-tuning intro, as it was not "rockin'" enough for this 12 yo kid! Was recording from a 12" record, so kept tape paused until the guitar came in after a minute or so. Well, I timed it wrong and ended up with 15 seconds of tuning and boy was I ticked... lol :) Not too much later, I had come to my senses and now the sweet anticipation of that guitar AFTER the tuning just gives me mega goose bumps! Looking forward to your analysis, Mr. Biz :)
EDIT: Boy... when that twin-rhythm guitars chime in after it picks up makes me understand why Angus would jump around like a lunatic! How can you NOT go nuts while playing this song!?!?!?!?

I’m 58. This is my favorite band.. not a song I don’t like.. not one... it’s strange though, because all the black guys y age or near,, refused to even listen, because they would get crap from others saying that it’s white people music... I think it was a matter of pride because rap was up and coming at the same time , But I think many secretly liked it.. how can anyone not? Music is for mankind. Good music is good music, doesn’t matter The genre..

They call me Spike, I've been a fan since their beginning. I know every word to every song exactly when, I sound exactly like Bon I should have a ding off with Brian. I guarantee I would kick some ass? GUARANTEED!!!!!
