A great ride along video giving a drivers eye view in the JCB. I've never been in a Fast Trac before, and you certainly have a great view from the driving seat. It seems very quiet in the cab, too, when on the road.

I agree with you...when you give way to someone you expect at least a wave or a thumbs up....but then most so-salled "professional" truck drivers now are ignored gits...and I say that as a truck driver of 40 years myself...also 8-wheel tipper drivers are some of the worst!(and yes, I've been one of those as well)!!!😂

Bloody roadworks! The town I'm from seems to be in a constant state of roadworks, then when traffic builds up, it gridlocks itself. Absolute nightmare!
I've seen lights put up on a roundabout for one day, no work done then they disappear! Why? Planning is another scam, where we have to adhere to every rule but councils have already decided and the public consultation is just a formality and mean's nothing! The war on motorists and truckers, its all for money, nothing else.

We’ve waited years for the 421 to bypass St Neots and be dualled all the way to Caxton. About time too! With regard to respect for tractor drivers that give way or pull over, so many see us as ignorant and have no respect for us. I hope they go hungry at some point.
handy to know about the black cat roundabout works, will have to allow for that when i come up to Suffolk in the year, usually go via Bicester,for a bit of shopping, and across to Cambridge, lot nicer trip, better views and no m25 to deal with
Health and Safety don't always tie in with common sense. There's a 50mph dual carriageway running through our town, 4-6 times a year they will close of 1 lane for a day so they can cut the grass on either side of it. This gets done in sections so they can be on 4 days to get out of the town area. They won't cut the grass anymore unless there's a lane closure in place, this was never an issues in previous decades when it was cut every fortnight without fail. 2 Years ago they repainted all the road markings, they did this during the day and the bloke just wandered down the middle of the open road with this paint cart. Not a cone or speed restriction in sight, he did have a HiVis on so I guess that means he won't die as the the risk assessment will say it was ok.

Good day sir George, just a thought here, Your Fast trac came from the factory spect without a front linkage, you've since fitted one, my guess is that if it is factory spec to have a front linkage it would have heavier springs fitted? So ye your springs would be too light now for the spec you've made it. Make sense?
The ones in the know decided to up grade the roundabouts near us. They now make you enter at a stupid angel and have 1-2-1 lane which causes tailback as everyone wants to be in front of the other. As for the wagons I think 2 fell over from the camber and another wiped a car out as they forgot wagons don’t do corners like cars 🙄🤦♂fml dunno which muppets got paid for that job!
I know what you mean mate, there's a roundabout a few miles south of us on the A1 that they redid a few years ago which is horrendous in a lorry, negative camber and the curve isn't smooth, it gets tighter and looser, need less to say several lorries have gone over 🤦♂️

George mate iam on the road every day, the standard of driving is appalling, very few drivers flash you in any more and very few put their hand up when you give way to them, it's infuriating, there's alot of foreign nationals driving lorries today who haven't got a dam clue what their doing, it's a bit different now since I took my HGV in 1988, no manners or respect anymore,
You seem to want to be very law abiding they will do you round here if you leave the front links sticking out you have to fold them up or if you can't you have to put a bumper bar from on link to the other, 🤔
