Those riffs! I'd love to see you play in a modern metal band. Your stuff with dorje toska and solo is already great, but I feel like you have some brutality that wants to express itself more
I'll be getting a nano soon, partly thanks to this demonstration video. You were very thorough, so thanks, Rabea! I've gotten pretty good at thumping, been practicing for about 3 months straight now, and I'm really excited to see how this'll push the tone with that technique.
Well i'm glad you spoke about the bright trimmer and the distortion trimmer i almost bought this pedal but i dont want any clipping distortion circuits when i just need to trim the bass and a level boost
I love my precision drive, but tbh prefer my S.D 805... this would be a perfect compliment, in combination. Thnx bea, and BTW that opening riff is just savage. Be well my friend.
I'd love to see your thoughts on the Fishman Fluence pickups! I mean you would have to be given a pair or buy them of course but I think they'd be right up your alley.
Not gonna lie I’ve had first hand experience with this pedal on super high gain and crunch and neither have a substantial difference no matter where the attack knob is I would agree with most of these comments that are saying that for $60 it would be great but for what horizon devices are asking is robbery this is by no means a bad pedal but definitely not worth the price if you are looking for a boost pedal with more bang for your buck try Fortin they make great pedals and only for around $30-40 more or less depending on if it’s used or not the Grind, 33, and Blade are all great boosts
Is this pedal designed to be in the front of the amp or in the back....? I haven't seen anyone try this in the back.. just wondering keep up the good work holmes. Cheers from WA,USA
I wonder how this little pedal (or the Precision Drive) could sound through a good old mildly crancked up Marshall amp, or some different kind of distortions... Video maybe? :D
As I don’t want to mess with the Krakens long sought after tone to much, this might be a better pedal than the Precision drive. No gate, though... Will this replace the Precision drive on your pedalboard, Bea? BTW, it’s the hardly edible Swedish surströmming at 13:36 :-)
That Strat sounds Fantastic With the Nano on!!!... sweet tones!!..like the other tones as well.. But personally I dig the Strat sounds ... Great playing as always 🎶🎸🙂
as long as it is in front of the distortion or preamp it should be good. i would suggest trying different positions out and see what you like. pedal order is mostly preference. try thing logically on how effects would influence each other.
Rabea have you thought about messing with open tunings? I just remembered from your cord video that you kinda make stuff up by what sounds good. I feel like you might like it. It makes you think about the guitar in a whole different way. I recommend the turning made famous by Mark Tremonti open D5 DADADD it sounds epic a half step down.
hi bea! do you use a e drum kit along with im assuming superior drummer or do you programme the beats in the DAW? or do you use midi groove packs? the drums sound very good for the "canned" variety!
Hey Rabea! The pedal sounds killer for sure, but just hearing you riffing is worth listening. What gauge do you use on the ML3? Is the tuning AGCFAD? I'm seriously considering buying one... Greetings from France!
Rabea I love your playing, love your demo's. You have a Chapman signature guitar and MusicMan gave you a free JP model. But, man I watch all your product demo's and I know what your favourite guitar is. I'll give you a clue, it's a Black ONE....... ;-) It's my favourite too!
Interesting pedal that does what it promises, but I don't see why someone interested enough to buy it for $150 wouldn't just buy the Precision Drive for $220.
rabea with the 19 minute video for a one-knob pedal
dad
Yass ! Papa Bea's back at it with killer riffs
Holy hell that opening jam was incredible. That crazy run sounded SO sick!
THE AFRO LORD! That baritone...It sounds godlike.
Those riffs! I'd love to see you play in a modern metal band. Your stuff with dorje toska and solo is already great, but I feel like you have some brutality that wants to express itself more
That's what I'm saying i didn't think he played in a current band that did this type of stuff
I agree
True, he should start a Djenty band
check out his solo project Grinding Gears
Brooo that riff was so good and Mastodony (remission era) and tje tone was fricken awesome. I love your videos
I'll be getting a nano soon, partly thanks to this demonstration video. You were very thorough, so thanks, Rabea! I've gotten pretty good at thumping, been practicing for about 3 months straight now, and I'm really excited to see how this'll push the tone with that technique.
Excellent Sound!
This thing is like a klon for metal heads. Just put that shit on everything
9:00 - 9:17 ish. omg this needs to be in a song. i loved the way that sounded
Sounds massive! Awesome playing as usual
Ahhh Bea that Congress riff is so sick dude!!!
Whats your aspiration in life?
To write riffs like Rabea.
Facts
Crew goals
We can hope.
Yeeesss back at it again with the riffs!!
Well i'm glad you spoke about the bright trimmer and the distortion trimmer i almost bought this pedal but i dont want any clipping distortion circuits when i just need to trim the bass and a level boost
Awesome! Love when you throw Toska riffs in the demos dude!
The riff after 10:20 sounds so clean, I'd love to hear that in a song
Love it with the Strat !
That hair....how do you wash it? Does it naturally just fro up lol dont ever cut it
i know he does brush it to keep it nice n fluffy
I love my precision drive, but tbh prefer my S.D 805... this would be a perfect compliment, in combination.
Thnx bea, and BTW that opening riff is just savage.
Be well my friend.
12:51 thats almost Argentina’s band Carajo tone...shit man, just a little more “gue gue” and you nailed it!
Damn, Congress sounds beautiful through that pedal, in general i love when you play a proggy piece with the gear you are demoing.
That strat sounded sick!!
How can someone be that good at guitar? Djesus man you shred
MAAAAAN THOSE RIFFS
Rabea's kraken shirts! Love to have some "merch" with all the kraken graphics.
The riffs are fantastically stanky!
9:00 - 9:17 ish. omg this needs to be in a song
Anyone know what those first chords are?
God dammit, this man is a modern Guitar Hero (God even)
New EP is on the way? :D
Yes!
@@RabeaMassaad yeeeeesss :D this is my best Christmas gift :)
Rabea Massaad Yey, that’s great! Any date set on the release of the new versions of your signature guitars?
Woohoooo!!!!
Wow sir you just ripped my face completely off!
Your a Genius Dude !!!!
Sounds fnnn! Great! Very usable!
why your pedal reviews are SO good
This guy reviews pedals like no other. Seems to love guitar.
Also, this pedal in position 2 sounds like the absolute perfect lead boost for solos
Awesome playing!
Dude you should so turn that intro playing into a song because the chord progression just rocks!
Dam Bia that was a ripper intro!
This intro track BANGS
I'd love to see your thoughts on the Fishman Fluence pickups! I mean you would have to be given a pair or buy them of course but I think they'd be right up your alley.

wow nice mini pedal
That riff from 10:30 made me go "Wooooooo!" . Use that in a song please Bea
It's called Congress 😊
How would this sound in front of my revv g3?
I wonder how this little pedal (or the Precision Drive) could sound through a good old mildly crancked up Marshall amp, or some different kind of distortions... Video maybe? :D
I need either a tab of that or just a shot of your hands please
Oi, what bloody tuning is this song in brah ?
Awesome demo! Could you maybe do a demo of your Moog sometime?
how the fuck Periphery have not invited you to play with them?! that intro riffs were bouncy as hell 🤘
Awesome riff man. You could soon be called the walking riff
As I don’t want to mess with the Krakens long sought after tone to much, this might be a better pedal than the Precision drive. No gate, though... Will this replace the Precision drive on your pedalboard, Bea?
BTW, it’s the hardly edible Swedish surströmming at 13:36 :-)
Damn, those riffs are filthy
0:02 my head exploded
Oh fuck that intro jam is tasty!
That Strat sounds Fantastic With the Nano on!!!... sweet tones!!..like the other tones as well.. But personally I dig the Strat sounds ... Great playing as always 🎶🎸🙂
What would be the best position for this pedal on a board?
as long as it is in front of the distortion or preamp it should be good. i would suggest trying different positions out and see what you like. pedal order is mostly preference. try thing logically on how effects would influence each other.
@@reiniervanzwieten7092 Thank you very muchly.
Hello Bea!! It's been a while since you played your jp15.
Sounds awesome in position 1 with Barry, I love the way the low end compresses which I didn't hear it do so much with Enrique.
Brutal riffage 👍
Rabea have you thought about messing with open tunings? I just remembered from your cord video that you kinda make stuff up by what sounds good. I feel like you might like it. The bazza 😂
Can’t wait to get mine. Loved this review!
Holy phuck that riff!
any reason why your tracking in stereo??
No it’s the torpedo has 2 mic outs, so I use 2 separate IR’s and blend
@@RabeaMassaad are you still double tracking then doing that? sounds killer. could i do the same thing with the torpedo live??
I love how you threw chalk teeth in the background of the wrap up :)
hi bea! do you use a e drum kit along with im assuming superior drummer or do you programme the beats in the DAW? or do you use midi groove packs? the drums sound very good for the "canned" variety!
Watching this on a treadmill at 730am is a nice pick me up
That's a really nice shirt! keep it up bea ;)
I love it with the strat mate. I'd have two of the pedals one set to number one the other six.
Hey Rabea!
The pedal sounds killer for sure, but just hearing you riffing is worth listening.
What gauge do you use on the ML3? Is the tuning AGCFAD?
I'm seriously considering buying one...
Greetings from France!
Will you make more guitar lessons? Maybe some advices on your warm-ups and technique?
Cheers, bro💪
That price tho
Ha! FroLord forever!
That strat into the nano attack gives you a sorta AC/DC tone, like you could easily just run that for an AC/DC tribute band
Sick
Rabea I love your playing, love your demo's. You have a Chapman signature guitar and MusicMan gave you a free JP model. But, man I watch all your product demo's and I know what your favourite guitar is. I'll give you a clue, it's a Black ONE....... ;-)
It's my favourite too!
Have you considered turning down the volume of the drum tracks so we can hear the guitar tone a bit better? Keep shredding 👍🏻
I have, but I’d rather it just sounded bangin!
It sounds like you dont turn it on in the intro lol :D
already have the precision dirve but i might need to snag this one too omg it sounds amazing. Horizon devices never disappoints.
That DJ0NT!!
Fantastic!
Am i wrong in hearing a little octavey thing going on?
Tubescreamer with a noise gate built in? Line6 M5!
Rebea your one if my favorite players rock on bro
Please, mention the lack of low freqs, be fair.
Wow....
Fuckin ey djent it up brother. I really wish I was ur drummer.
I want to call your riffs daddy
that's his name don't wear it out
Wicked
You should have your own overdrive /distortion pedal with built in compression and call it the FroLord. Maybe the same company that makes the Dane.
Interesting pedal that does what it promises, but I don't see why someone interested enough to buy it for $150 wouldn't just buy the Precision Drive for $220.
Where’s the obligatory Misha comment?
Rabea, although your style is a bit too 'modern' for me I appreciate it and you do it very well compared to some.
Hmmm... Horizon Devices surprise us with small sizes. I'm in crisis. :O) That thing is just a giant box of "Yes" isn't it?
Why is Misha selling pedals but not using them himself and uses a Axe fx ii. Hunmmmmm??
$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I mean, he has a huge rack of pedals in his studio. It's still much more convenient to just carry the Axe-FX. Less to worry about.
What a RIFFAGE jeeeeeesus o_O
🤘🤘🤘🤘😎👌
I'm pushing my local Rock station to play Congress.
Fuck me the intro was filth!!!!!! 👏
