*_My boy Nikola Tesla, is still WAY underrated. I still wish moar peeps knew about his inventions and what he did for society in whole. Hell one simple thing he did was revolutionize the power grind that was at the time all Direct Current. If he hadn't made an Alternating Current power grid the Earth would be in a huge layer of smog. That is because a Direct Current power grid would have required a coal or oil power plant every mile just so it'd work.. So again thank you Nikola Tesla you are one of the best inventors ever._*

I'm a huge fan of Tesla however he didn't invent the AC Power grid - that's was invented before his time. An AC generator was first developed by Hippolyte Pixii in 1832. Single phase AC power with grid was being utilized in Europe by several notable inventors in the early 1880s. Similarly in the late 1870's Germany had developed a dual phase AC generator. Italian scientist Galileo Ferraris, even discussed his polyphase AC Power grid/generator in 1885.

Tin Spider The first part is especially untrue. There is absolutely nothing that documents that. However there was an interview in which he kind of described cellphones, but it's not as if one had to be an amazing visionary to predict cellphones anyway. Radio telephones were being tested and patents issued at the beginning of the 20th century. The walkie talkie was invented in the 1930's but the idea had been around for quite a while. This wasn't predicting anything beyond what any visioneer would "predict" - better, easier, smaller, cheaper, etc. versions of current technology. Hardly prediction. The second part is a wide spread rumor however, but it's just not documented.

he had some mind boggling inventions and discoveries, like this earthquake machine, that really just tuned into the frequency of an object(cuz everything has its own frequency, even humans) which captures the molecules of an object and when you raise the frequency even higher it displaces those molecules, causing objects to shake, warp, levitate and sometimes completely turn to dust... just research the earthquake machine or the Hutchison effect... Tesla did so much more than just tesla coils; he was one of the brightest minds to ever live....
