    it's actually so weird how you create an unbreakable and deep bond with someone then you basically never see them again lol

      I would go on dates with the girls after i maxed them out..Just for the hell of it!!....Even though was little reward except some little extra dialogue.Because well hey im a STUD!!!

      I remember in Persona 3 it was possible to make Confidants start to doubt their friendship with you by not hanging out with them or doing something wrong (don't remember the specifics). For Persona 6 they could have that still apply for maxed out Social Links/Confidants, and while they're in that doubt state, you lose all the abilities you got from spending time with them until you fix your relationship

    Less cartoony villains and a female protagonist needs to return and would highly incentivize players to keep playing

      I think they should do a dual protag so people can choose. Being a man myself, I'd rather play with a male character but I would certainly like women to have a choice to play as a female as well. This could also add a lot of replayability to the game though a lot of extra work too.

      I think it would be beneficial to have it as an option though. especially for the female persona players

    One thing I want for 6 is a varied team of characters. 3 had a mix of individuals and species on the team other than teens (robot, dog, 5th grader) and 5 had teammates from different schools. I think 6 should have a mix of that. Also the color for it should be green!

    I think that max confidants / social links should still have uses, maybe levelling up all personas of their respective arcana that you have currently equipped? Or giving you a temporary stat increase for the next time you are in the shadow world?

    I’m not sure how the game will let you customise your character’s clothes and hair if there are anime cutscenes.

    Oooooo those are great recommendations for what should be done for Persona 6, here's some of my own:
    What would be cool is exploring some more unique story beats too:
    ~What if the Main Antagonist was a former protagonist of an older Persona game and is old now
    ~That same Antagonist forms an International Organization/ Clan/ etc of Bad-Interesting-Unique Persona Users/ Characters (Like the Akatsuki of Persona in a way)(And by end of the game you find out you only defeated the Japan Branch of that organization)
    ~Have a Persona-Users Civil War
    ~Maybe even the Protagonists brother/ sister is forcibly brainwash-converted into being the antagonists right hand
    ~Exploring Sea of Souls world that Personas are from
    ~Have a seperate school rivalry system and can pick which school you join (and which school affects which confidants you can get access to right away and makes other confidants harder later on to rank up)
    ~Shadows in the real world permanently sectioning off different parts of Japan as they are spreading throughout the game and can unlock more of the game by clearing more areas
    So many other story/ world beats that can be explored

      @@y3l10wflash6 I mean it's got the sort of school rivalry thing you're talking about with "confidants" in specific schools (houses) that you get to choose to join (but it's obviously not got actual personas in it). It's also got the warring factions vibe. If you like Persona's daily life / dungeon alternating flow, definitely give it a try if you can!

    i'd be into a mascot that is an fairytale creature thats pretty old and have them reference events from centuries ago.
    duel protagonists that are rivals. you can use them to set up a civil war that splits the party into two factions for a while.
    id like the ability to switch combat styles like metaphor refantazio.

    My ideas:
    Summoning method: they break off a collor on their neck and toss the charm onto the floor breaking it and then releasing the persona. Represents the user breaking loose from what holds them back.
    And the mascot should be a monkey named "chango"
    Also for this game's issue to address society's envy and greed. How most people aren't grateful for what they have and are always wanting more until satisfaction.

    For me I would say: 1) either a 3rd year high schooler or a university student (can use more mature tones), 2) ability to choose a male or female protaganist in the beginning (replay value), 3) better passive skills earned from social links (i.e. not Ryuji's instant kill making players not want to max out hos confidant to avoid that) & 4) not leaving the town or city you've come to for a certain time frame, why does the MC always have to leave at the end of the game?😂 only way I'll accept it is if they give us a song on par with or better than "Snowflakes" from P4G aside from that let the character actually stay put unless they use the 3rd year high schooler idea and in that case he/she would be going to university not back to a totally different city to never see any of the people they've been relationships with

    I saw some people suggesting 2 characters Male and Female when u suggest this kind of options keep in mind you are literally coding 2 diferent games. Dialogues, interactions, events, splasharts. I coded a few small games with my classmates for fun but i cant even imagine the amount of people burning their asses to code such a game as persona so i guess gameplay wise is posible to implement 2 protagonist but history wise the only idea it comes to my mind is let say P5 is 100 hours gameplay average then divide the gameplay by 2 let say p6 is 50 hours x2 but u can play both male and female with these diferent routes but overall both gameplays are 100+ hours. I think that is posible.

    i hope the cutscenes they have are 3d but like guilty gear or chainsaw man so the customization of your character (if it’s in the game) can been seen in cutscenes. if not keep the anime cutscenes

      Yeah I actually like that a lot, because for me it’s exactly the right ratio that I don’t get particularly annoyed or bored by either. Maybe if every palace just had a block in the middle (like Sae’s or Madarame’s) that’d be a good change though (and allowing the party members to be more chill and not text you about going to the palace every single day if you’re trying to spread your entries)

    I know this isn’t really a feature, but I desperately want persona 6 to be cross platform as Persona 5 Royal now is. Being able to play on PC/Xbox, and having the saves automatically sync, being able to play on cloud too, and the rise of PC gaming handhelds just makes for such a good experience.
    And it’s just not possible to be able to play on TV or cloud on the go, or PC and have that be a good experience if we end up getting stuck with it being PlayStation or switch exclusive.

    I think as a SMT ANYTHING fan what we should be encouraging is not forcing + games down our throat. I love P5. I love it enough to play R. And fair enough those 60 dollar experiences are spread so far apart that it was worth it
    But its still P5 with built in DLC for 60 more dollars. I'd rather have the better experience off the bat. Additionally not using the vanilla game to structure a better QOL NEW EDITION version.
    Having to play P5 twice as completionist. Again I like P5 I give any RPG bad marks for making me play twice. Especially 100 hour experiences like P5. No more locking all of the Persona behind 2nd playthroughs. Or locking experiences behind limited time. By the time you can talk to Iwai in the vanilla game you need LV4 guts which you don't really get until October even if you're doing everything perfect. You wanna fight all of the super bosses you need a 2nd play through.
    Stop this. No more of this. While a 2nd play through is shorter these are not short games. Playing another 60 hours just to get everything is dumb. P5R may be the president for this because in P4G they barely did more of anything and the game is hell for completionists. But P5R was not only smooth but you got a single play through PACKED with content and time to do it all. By November I had done everything. They took away the book and retro games trophies so no worries there. No very dumb trophies like obtain all infiltration tools nor was there a trophy for completing the compendium means it was entirely possible to do EVERYTHING and still be given another 25 hour experience with the 2nd semester.

    Point 6, universal XP: IMHO don't track individual XP just have one bar that fills up and BAM done.
    Also social links should not provide a singular type of benefits. Devil arcana reporter = trash, how it got into the final game *twice* is laughable. Mishima just gives XP bonuses = nice to have, but the game is long already. At the very least he should have increased Arcana Burst XP and maybe when you fight an enemy, carried personas of the matching arcana get bonus XP.

    So, I have some kind of bias towards persona 5 royal. Its just one of my all time favorite games for some reason. With that said, I genuinely don't know how they will top it. I'm not trying to be negative or anything, but p5r is just so good to me that I just can't fathom how they would make a better persona game.

    I would like to see the dating romance part of the game get really enhanced with much expanded dialogue options added...Also with an option to show not only kissing but as the relationship progresses making out with your confident!...As in the Rockstar game Bully..That would add much needed spice and freshness into the confident relationships!..And add the ability to reply with more mature and sexy conversation dialogue options.

    I want Social Links to make a return in Persona 6 over Confidants. By all means we should still get abilities from hanging out with people, but in Persona 5 it felt more like you were spending time with Confidants to get those abilities rather than getting those abilities just by spending time with people. For example, Maruki's and Toranosuke's (never thought I'd use them in the same sentence) were really quite clever ones that would work perfect as a Social Link over a Confidant, and having more of that would be great moving forward.

    The first 1 is why? That's silly. I don't think you need benefits to hanging out with them. I think what you need is more time.
    Persona 5 R did this perfect. If you knew what you were doing you can do a 1 time completionist run of all Confidants unlike vanilla but by November 1st you were done. At that point if you have not thats when you do stuff like hang out in Kichijoji and play darts and billards to boost baton pass benefits. Or hang out in the night club to awaken busted ass skills.
    If I can concede one thing its simply just getting worth while scenes OUTSIDE of holidays. You wanna take your best friend or your waifu out give us a bunch awesome scenes. Something fun, or unique. That's hidden away in the game as a reward for maxing them out. There doesn't need to be something beneficial.
    No mascots. Thats it. Also Aigis is not a mascot. I think its possible to live with them as long as we don't get 2 things. No mascot related to the plot world that wants to or can become human. That's dumb. I'm tired of seeing it. Second. Never reach Teddie levels. I absolutely loathe this character. I think if they could stay away from making the next macguffin character THAT bad everything would be fine.
    You're also hella cap. Teddie is worse than Mona is nearly every conceviable way. Him telling you to go to bed is such a meme. There were internal reasons Yu couldn't leave the house sometimes or leave his room after he's turned in. They could have just done that in P5. Teddie is a blight. He's a parasite in the real world, basically living with Yosuke for free. And most importantly he never shuts up about sex and romance. He can't have legitimate conversation outside of when the story is about his time as a Shadow about trying to crush P. It comes off as jarring because he's not human. Imagine a child talking like Teddie. That's Teddie.
    Mona is an Annsexual but at least that's not what he's about constantly. And at least its less weird for him to be a boy and just be a cat. Him being a cat literally progresses the plot because people outside the group or unrelated to the cognitive world thinks he's 'just a cat'
    Hella agree. I want to take over the role of a character. Not be the blank of blank characters in terms of customization. Yu, Minato, and Akira are very much their own people. Is their journey and we're piloting them. Thats it

    After persona 4.... this series probably ought to stay away from the lgbtq stuff. I suspect that what that game did was downright revolutionary when released in 2012 in Japan. Just saying that the lgbtq community existed in the culture of the time was pretty daring. That said... in 2023 in the US that was handled really badly. Really really badly. So probably just steer clear of it for now at least until they can figure out how to handle it better.
