Thanks!!!just watched this and hung four pictures perfectly in a row 👌🏽
Nice work, glad to help 👍
I think the best thing I learned from your video was the genius of using the hoover while drilling! Brilliant mate!
Glad you liked it!
i never realized that hanging pictures could almost give me a fucking stroke lol..... thanks for the tips
Hopefully you didn't have a stroke. Thanks for watching 👍
Jeez, just been binge watching all of your videos, you are the perfect channel for new home owners and eager DIY folks. When my missus catches these videos she will be doing it all herself and won't let me DIY at all
Thanks for the feedback 👍. If tge Mrs does all the DIY, surely that means you get to put your feet up?!
Thank you so much for posting this video. I was trying to put up a picture collage of our family consisting of six pictures. Your explanation was easy to follow. Thank you so much again.
Thanks for posting this video. I watched it before hanging up 9 record albums. 6 were one brand and the remaining 3 had unique hooks. Because I watched your video, I knew how to measure and center them. They turned out great.
Glad to have helped!
This is such a helpful video, I don’t understand how it has so little views in 5 years. Great job!
exactly the help I needed!!! THANK YOU 🩷
Happy to help!
A few great tips there. Thanks for sharing:-)
Thanks for watching!
Great advice! Personally, I would put some painters tape in the approximate locations before marking up my wall. Easy to remove when done and zero pencil marks. Cheers 🍻
Great help!! Please add this video to your playlist household tips... Had trouble finding this video back on your channel
I thought it was in the playlist! I'll check that now.
Thanks 👌🏼 nice video
Great video well done
Thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching!
Exactly the instr I needed! I have 3 frames to hang. Thank you.
No problem 👍
Great video
Thanks!
Very Good,I'm going to hang my frames with toolmax brand pictuer hangers kit bought from amazon, you're quite helpful!
Good luck!
very helpful, thanks!
No worries!
Thank you
found this video very informative
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video. The only change I'd make is the use of the pin picture hooks as they apparently can hold 30lbs which is ample for most pictures. The added benefit is you can remove the picture and only a pin hole remains - no drilled holes to fill in.
Good advice!
Humm i just put a paper on the back and poke the hole or mark it...and nail it thru the paper❕ and BINGO!!
Alll twisted!
I recommend you get a self-leveling laser and make sure to do all the math on paper before hanging anything, that way you can make sure everything is spaced out evenly, good job on the video and thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the feedback 👍
Lovely vid bang on the money but I would like to ad that before drilling any holes into your wall you should check for electrical wires and water pipes with a sensor, some call it stud finder... if you haven’t got one than at least check out to see where you’re plugs are and keep away from those lines, otherwise great video!
God advice that I should have mentioned. I rewired my house so I know where it all is. Thanks for watching.
He was drilling into concrete.
Uuuummmm...... could you just come over and hang them for me?😁
No time sorry! Thanks for watching.
@@POUSEaroundtheHOUSE she was flirting....
Thanks - great for that type of hanger. But frames with string or wire can be a nightmare to get level.
Fair enough, but same principle. On the back of the frame hold the string or wire taught and mark the highest point it goes to on the back of the frame. Then use this to measure up to the top of the frame as I did in my video. That way you're able to make adjustment for the different wire / string lengths on each frame so the top of the frame is always level. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.

Oh man great video but we just Painted the walls Cotton White...Don't think I want to mark them with a Pencil ✏️ 😀 unless I make a Very small mark or line
Get some blue painters tape. I can't believe people don't mention this. Put lots of blue painters tape over the areas where you think you'll need it, and you can draw on it, drill holes through it, everything you want, and then simply remove it and your holes will still be there, but no damage to the paint anywhere else.
I usually bang the nails in the wall and hope for the best. It's so much quicker ;)
Fair enough!
Is there a simpler way?
Use a laser level to line top of frames up then measure down to bracket as in video. Good laser level is £80 plus though so up to you! On plasterboard you could use the pin type hooks you nail in but they don't hold much weight. Thanks for watching.
Great DIY vid. Probably heard this before. Your video was slightly painful. SOUND and FOCUS. Invest in a good mic and respect your viewer. You'll have a lot more.
This is an old video. If you watch my more recent videos you will see I have a better camera and separate microphone. But bear in mind I'm not a trained videographer, just a guy filming DIY. Decent equipment can be expensive and and these videos are free to watch so please remember, respect your youtuber! Thanks for watching 👍
Screw and anchor is major overkill lol
Maybe but at least I know it won't fall down!
Just get a simple laser level
That is an option, but I don'rt have one, and it's expensive for someone that just wants to hang a few frames. Thanks for the feedback.
A thing. One deals. These are perfectly shaped. Please. Thanks for this video. Just a feel good thing for me though.
to avoid putting a pencil mark all over your wall using painters paint would help
Confusing
Probably best to leave it then. Thanks for watching! 👍
“Place a spirit level…”
I don’t have one and am not gonna buy one to hang two pictures.
Your house, do what makes you happy! Thanks for watching 👍
@@POUSEaroundtheHOUSE Turns out my phone had a level app. We cool. 👍🏻
wtf is a "tuth" ? you mean tooth right
No, I mean 'tuth'. I'm not from the home counties!
Wow, how to overcomplicate hanging a fkn picture...
If you know better, then why bother watching it.? 😡
@@jillybean1229 Please tell me how I was ever meant to know that I did know better until I had finished watching it? Besides RUclips bought me here and what a disappointment it was too. Once you've checked your logic and thought a little of trees falling in woods please refrain yourself from asking stupid questions in future. Have nice day.
@Darksun - it's not over complicating. Cheap frames have the hangers in different positions. You may tolerate frames hung at different levels, but I don't. if you want a few frames level this is how to do it. You can't just measure from the top of the frame. You don't have to do it this way, it's just an option. Thanks for your comments and thanks for watching.
Or just use command strips and spend the rest of your Saturday watching football
Fair point!
This is why I hate picture hanging. U need a degree in it! Best just have a glass of wine and follow the pin the tail on the donkey approach 😊
I'm not sure I'd get away with that approach, the ball and chain would send me back! 😁
Get a decent mic!
