Looking at one of these for PPK surveying since I already have a static GNSS receiver; the price is pretty hard to beat!
WOW!!! This is new and much cheaper....16 hrs for RTK? that's insane !! Any test results /study/ articles or comparison test with other brands? Would like to know more.

Hi, I am quite new to these things. What are the the main differences between using a base and rover combination against using just a receiver connected to the internet to receive NTRIP corrections?
-Need Internet and No Need Internet
- NTRIP just need Single Receiver while BaseRover Need Two Receiver
- Base Rover suitable for place tht hv no intrnet correction or telco line
-Distance from BaseRover is limited due how further Rover from Base
Hi Alessandro! NTRIP only works via the Internet, so you need cellular network coverage to use it. It's a good solution when you work in hilly or urban areas with a long baseline as NTRIP doesn't require the line of sight.
Working with your own base and rover allows you to be autonomous in remote areas as there’s no need for an Internet connection. Also, there's no need to pay any fees for the NTRIP service :)

@@octaviohernandezromero339 hola, si lo he usado en zonas boscosas, cuando la vegetación es muy densa la solución es flotante, pero cuando no es muy densa por lo general la solución siempre se mantiene en fija.
@@POLVASO Saludos..cuanto tienes arboles encima de ti supongo no te da fix para nada..vale o o no la pena este equipo, porque eso ya no me gusta...si deseas levantar propiedades dnde hay mucho arboles no te sirve entonces
@@Arq-Top por lo general en zonas de árboles no hay una solución fix.

How is the battery life span ?
Hi Raymond, Reach RS2 can work up to 22 hours when logging data and up to 16 hours as a 3G rover.
It has 182 channels while other brand have more than500 channel .does it affect accuracy
Hi there! Reach RS2 has 184 channels, and in PPK mode has a positioning accuracy of H: 5 mm + 0.5 ppm and V: 10 mm + 1 ppm. While more channels should provide additional accuracy, the improvements may be very subtle depending on your scenario. It’s best to evaluate your project requirements and the associated costs to achieve these requirements.
does reach rs2+ have tilt IMU ?
Hi! Reach RS2+ doesn't support tilt compensation.

Hi Tema! Reach RS2 has a built-in IMU, but its support is not implemented in the software yet. We have plans on adding such a feature.
My cousin buying it in July/2020. But my reach doesn't connect until now. If it is possible, how you can help me online. I love this Machine and I proposed to my family to buy it me. But now, i cry why doesn't work.
