Colorado springs vs steamboat springs, what's the big difference in area?

First things that come to mind:
COS: Big military town. More of a metro feel. Expanding like crazy
Steamboat: Small mountain/ski town. Super expensive. More snow

Being from Phoenix Im not expecting much from Mexican food joints out here in Colorado (especially the mountain towns) 😂
