8T user here. Very very happy. I would use it for another 5 years if I could, the battery is still excellent and the phone as fast as day one (which is very, very fast), but I no longer have security patches and online banking no longer works. I think buying the Oneplus 12, with 5 years of security updates it's ok, but these devices can last much longer, so I have mixed feelings 🤔

I bought my OnePlus 12 Flowy Emerald (512 GB storage) here in Berlin, Germany, in May this year. It's been a while, and I love the phone. The fast charging is impressive, and the screen is amazing. It's an incredible phone, and I switched from the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE.
I got the oneplus 12r, upgraded from a 7t, and for me its the best bang for buck phone ever. Especially since i dont game on it its super fast and battery easily lasts a day and a half

If you have 5/10 minutes to set up the perfect photo then they're great. If you want a quick snap on the fly, the pictures are sub par. Decent battery lift, I'll give it that.

No, the Samsung S24 plus at the current discounted price is. I just pick up one that's practically brand new in the retail box with charging cable at a Bestbuy for $650. The Samsung ecosystem is so good.

@@camotech1314 I just really didn't like the way that the Samsung OS felt so updated. No vertical scrolling of the apps was just amazingly frustrating. Several apps were also installed, but for some reason the icons didn't show, which was also frustrating. I also thought that the cameras were worse than my Pixel 6 Pro

At any event, I'm upgrading my Xiaomi Mi 11 and have been considering the OP12. Thing is, in Denmark the OP12 with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage still costs around €1000. On the other hand the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra costs €1.140 after the price having finally dropped somewhat. These prices pertain to buying the phone in 6 - 36 month installments on your credit card. Otherwise they're €60 - 80 less. As I understand, the OP12 will get 4 years of software upgrades (enough imo), compared to the Samsung's 7 years. Can you or anyone else please tell me, is the S24 Ultra worth €140 more? Especially considering the OP12 over here comes with a 100W charger in the box.
I pre-ordered the OnePlus 12 and have been loving it since I got it. The cameras are a vast improvement over previous OP phones and the charging is ridiculously fast. My wife has a Samsung phone and every time I try to use it I get annoyed with OneUI and it's crappy duplicate apps. Personally I would choose the OP12 over the S24 Ultra but others may think differently.

I've also gotten so used to fast charging, it's honestly hard going back to Samsung speeds. Not to mention the 100W charger in the box. That's another 40 - 50 euros/dollars. Also, when does everyone else get the oxygen 12 os? My oneplus 12 did not get it yet. It only gave me 14.1 update so far.
Phone is awesome, the best android I've used, even better than the S24 Ultra. The only thing it concerned me was the privacy, a lot of system apps are developed by a third party and OnePlus doesn't disclose this fact in their privacy policy. So, you will never know what kind of data that third party is collecting, how is being stored and if it's being sold to external companies, this (of course) includes their gallery app and the AI tools.
There would need to be a really amazing phone to make me switch from the Oppo Find X3 Pro! Think it's the only phone with a microscope camera, definitely a shame more phones don't have this 😢
I am using one rn the OnePlus 12 24gb ram 1tb but if you play 120 fps games the phones will randomly drop to 55 fps then go back to 120 fps a after a minute a and the issue of OnePlus 12 thermal throttling at just 38 degree on all phones if you play games for more than 10 minutes the phone will lock at 55fps because OnePlus lock the phone to 55 fps if it pass 38 degree but day to day the phone works amazing but if you are a gamer I think you will have a better experience with the redmagic 10 pro
ALL of the phones post oneplus 5 has had thermal issues from the looks of things. I had issues constantly through my time owning oneplus phones, to the point the phone would turn the screen off and go into battery saving telling me to wait for it to cool. Oneplus are fully awear of the issues with phone heat issues and refuse to address it.
I am still enjoying my 1+11. I ran custom roms for a bit but haver returned back to oos14. At full hd and high refresh rate I get between 12 and 16 hrs of sot.
I would agree, if not for the "GPS location"-Bug in photos. Whenever you are out of range of any WiFi (e.g. on a mountain or on the sea) ever photo is only tagged with the last known WiFi location or cell triangulation, instead of using GPS. Hence, photos are few hundred meters -or even kilometers- away from the real location. This was a dealbreaker for me and forced me to switch to the Pixel 9.

The OnePlus here in the UK is nearly 40% cheaper than the S24 ultra if you can get the ultra for a similar price then get the Ultra

Had the same dilemma, went with Honor in the end, very happy with it. To be honest both will be great, go for the best deal.

I would agree, if not for the "GPS location"-Bug in photos. Whenever you are out of range of any WiFi (e.g. on a mountain or on the sea) ever photo is only tagged with the last known WiFi location or cell triangulation, instead of using GPS. Hence, photos are few hundred meters -or even kilometers- away from the real location.
This was a dealbreaker for me and forced me to switch to the Pixel 9.

😡🤬NO ITS NOT......I GOT SCREEN BURN....i dont play games and dont use phone much...and my main page apps show up though any white screen on phone while using other apps...burnt on screen after less than a year owning..screen brightness at 3/4...very disappointing for the one plus 12...and its a common issue
