Well nothing may improve in future. But currently nothing phones are complete shit! I have owned the phone 2. I recently switched to iqoo 12 and although it doesn't offer a seamless UI like nothing but still performs way better than nothing.

Recently I visited OnePlus exclusive store at CP,New Delhi. I was shocked to see that there were just 4-5 customer in the store and approximately 40 to 50 customers waiting in the queue upstairs for the service.
I don't know if people will believe me, but I have had 3t, 6t, 7t, 8 Pro, 9, 11R with me. None of them have ever had any green line issue or motherboard issue.
My OnePlus 7 still performing like a beast can , better than todays midrange devices and due to it Its smooth UI and OS I dont want to use any other brand 😢 what should i do now
Its a samsung problem. No one talked about it. My s22 ultra has same problem and may be it comes from humidity. Buy OP 12 or 13 those come with BOE panels. PS search samsung white screen/ green line issue after update.

In my district all the Chinese phones are repaired in one service centre. I took my sister's phone to repair cracked display and they said that it will take 6-7 days. I am a Samsung user and when my phone display was cracked Samsung Service Centre repaired it in an hour.
Samsung invests more in repair compared to oneplus. The repair costs are also low with samsung. With oneplus the upfront cost will be low. But, if you ever need to repair it out of warranty you pay the price. I had compared this with repair costs listed on Samsung and oneplus official websites.
As a OnePlus 11R user.. I can pretty much agree with every words from devangshu bhaiya, but issues bohot kam ho geyi hai abhi aur 13 series mein shayad hi koi issue milega.. 😊 The only thing I hate is Oxygen × Color OS merge 😑

I have been using OnePlus Nord 2 since December 2021 and in July 2023 I got the same purple dot on my screen (1:11) after that within 2 days the whole screen became dark (I don't drop the phone anytime during that period) even though the service center rejected the request & when I went to the consumer forum OnePlus team suddenly responded but as same mention in Video they close grievance by saying that I accepted ₹2000 coupon. And I paid around ₹7700 for screen replacement without my mistake. I am managing my budget for my next phone purchase but I am sure that I will not purchase oneplus phone anymore. Bye bye OnePlus
It's either screen damage, heat damage or a samsung screen (greenline occurs in samsung displays) if you're afraid of greenline don't take any phone cause they can occur in almost all phones

I think i was lucky with my OnePlus ce2 it's been 3 yrs and I never witness a bad experience but the display glue is not enough in the display to connect with the phone while removing the tempered glass the display also came out but it was fixed under rs 100 by local shop till date I have never seen any major problem accept this one
Watching on my OnePlus 12, i have also used the OnePlus Nord from 2020 , i have never faced any issues in both phones, In fact OnePlus 12 is a very great phone , having the smoothest UI and a great camera, bought it for 55K and like no other phone in this budget range offers so much excellent features and user experience.

Yesterday my parents when to buy phone and I couldn’t go with them cuz of ill health. The salesman tried his best to fool my parents in buying one plus thank god my mom called me and I told her and I’m glad she didn’t buy it . They even tried to convince them to take emi when they actually had money and they tried to make them pay for insurance but then the phone gets spoiled they don’t take responsibility so I’m happy my parents didn’t fall for that trap and didn’t pay extra .
The scream of a few fools online doesn't make a product a failure, if 10 out of 10000 phones get greenline it's not a problem, now imagine the 10 crying so loud in the internet, that is the true scale.
I use samsung s9 from past 6 years and my father uses samsung note 8 from 8 plus years still no green screen no battery replacement done still does our job efficiently its just heats a bit on mobile data but not on wifi❤
One Plus was still not good under Carl Pei, their last "Flagship Killer" was 7t imo. After the 7t none of the phones were VFM they were just slightly less expensive than actual flagships while offering a year old specs.
My OnePlus 7T also had a board issue which needed RAM reballing. I did it from a local store and got rid of the device by exchanging it on amazon. I don't know why board issues / crash dump are more prevalent on oneplus devices.

I think that happened because it overburdens the phone's GPU or rendering engine. I encountered a green line issue while using WhatsApp. When I was viewing a WhatsApp status, I zoomed in, and at that moment, a faint green line appeared. After switching to another status, the line became slightly darker. I immediately closed WhatsApp, and the line disappeared. After that, I used my phone for nearly an hour without any issues. However, when I returned to view statuses on WhatsApp again, the green line appeared permanently on the screen.
I've never seen a single green line issue on a phone tested by jerryrigs. And the guy intentionally superheats the phone he tests So pretty sure this is no heading problem
The oneplus 12 and 11 issues are very low and its prominent in 10 and 11 which were 2020 and 2021 phones which was the time carl pei left oneplus so basically i believe company dident know how to manage that, I still support oneplus and i wanna see the green lines end also i use a nord ce 3 lite so it has a lcd display so i am basically safe
Indian legislators need to enact law requiring right to service and extended warranty at least 5 years. So far my OP12 hasn't gone bad (bought during BBD sale this year). Took one year extended service to be on the safer side. Let's hope this unit serves me fine.
Having OnePlus 8 pro and got green screen. Thank God got free screen replacement. Also in my friend circle around 4-5 people have OnePlus out of which 2 people got green line. They were 8T users so they also got free replacement.
Watching this video on OP12, tbh I'm using the phone from past 7 months and I've had no issue whatsoever till now. Oneplus still has one of the smoothest UI, I've never used any other phone except oneplus from past 10 years. Not even a single phone had green line issue or heating issues. Always a oneplus fan! ❤️

Proud user of Huawei flagship devices since 5 years. Currently, using P60 Pro and I never ever had have such green line issues. I guess Huawei uses LG displays rather than Samsung panels
I never experienced any green line on my One Plus phone. It's been more than a year now since I purchased One Plus 11. Let me tell you that I don't play any games on my phone although my phone does heat up a few times.
humidity and high temp does play a role. consider this. i this june travelled to my hometown in odisha, i noticed one thing. while i stay in gujarat/mumbai i barely have issues in running my Galaxy watch 6 classic 47mm. i use LTE+Location(some times)and data. yes it does heat if i use all and do youtube music downloads where i can feel it but very mildly. but in my hometown same thing made my watch overheat, and it displayed message that watch is overheating and it turned some fuctionality down, screen brightness went very low, only showed digital time and screen locked out. after cooling it inside my Car yes things restored.
Two months ago, my OnePlus 9R had a green line issue. After the service center fixed it, my phone became completely dead within an hour. I went back the next day, but they refused to take responsibility, saying they returned the phone in working condition. OnePlus phones have numerous service and software issues. I do not recommend buying OnePlus phones again. Extremely disappointed with their service!

I think i was lucky with my OnePlus ce2 it's been 3 yrs and I never witness a bad experience but the display glue is not enough in the display to connect with the phone while removing the tempered glass the display also came out but it was fixed under rs 100 by local shop till date I have never seen any major problem accept this one
Watching on my OnePlus 12, i have also used the OnePlus Nord from 2020 , i have never faced any issues in both phones, In fact OnePlus 12 is a very great phone , having the smoothest UI and a great camera, bought it for 55K and like no other phone in this budget range offers so much excellent features and user experience.

Humidity hi main reason hai mera realme 9 ke under thoda sa water ke drops chala gaya tha uske khuch minute baad display me ek chota sa blue dot aa gaya aur ek week me pura display blue colour ka ho gaya tha. Even customer service wale bhi confuse the ki yah kaise ho gaya.
I have 2 one plus.. 9R and CE3 ..Both went through update and 9R got green line but CE3 is good..so Humidity is rulled out.. it's truly an unknown issue or may be a deliberate issue just like what apple did..
I had one plus 7 pro, used it for more than 5 years, one day it stopped, service station said motherboard issue, and need to pay 23k for it.. 😢 phone was actually good..

Yesterday my parents when to buy phone and I couldn’t go with them cuz of ill health. The salesman tried his best to fool my parents in buying one plus thank god my mom called me and I told her and I’m glad she didn’t buy it . They even tried to convince them to take emi when they actually had money and they tried to make them pay for insurance but then the phone gets spoiled they don’t take responsibility so I’m happy my parents didn’t fall for that trap and didn’t pay extra .

One Plus was still not good under Carl Pei, their last "Flagship Killer" was 7t imo.
After the 7t none of the phones were VFM they were just slightly less expensive than actual flagships while offering a year old specs.

My OnePlus 7T also had a board issue which needed RAM reballing.
I did it from a local store and got rid of the device by exchanging it on amazon. I don't know why board issues / crash dump are more prevalent on oneplus devices.

I think that happened because it overburdens the phone's GPU or rendering engine. I encountered a green line issue while using WhatsApp. When I was viewing a WhatsApp status, I zoomed in, and at that moment, a faint green line appeared. After switching to another status, the line became slightly darker. I immediately closed WhatsApp, and the line disappeared. After that, I used my phone for nearly an hour without any issues. However, when I returned to view statuses on WhatsApp again, the green line appeared permanently on the screen.
Two of my friends got a green line right after update, one 9r & one 11. No game, just normal usage.

The oneplus 12 and 11 issues are very low and its prominent in 10 and 11 which were 2020 and 2021 phones which was the time carl pei left oneplus so basically i believe company dident know how to manage that, I still support oneplus and i wanna see the green lines end

Indian legislators need to enact law requiring right to service and extended warranty at least 5 years. So far my OP12 hasn't gone bad (bought during BBD sale this year). Took one year extended service to be on the safer side. Let's hope this unit serves me fine.
Having OnePlus 8 pro and got green screen. Thank God got free screen replacement. Also in my friend circle around 4-5 people have OnePlus out of which 2 people got green line. They were 8T users so they also got free replacement.
Watching this video on OP12, tbh I'm using the phone from past 7 months and I've had no issue whatsoever till now. Oneplus still has one of the smoothest UI, I've never used any other phone except oneplus from past 10 years. Not even a single phone had green line issue or heating issues. Always a oneplus fan! ❤️
This issue was reported in rare cases for OnePlus 9 and 10 series. OnePlus 11 and 12 series are 🔥 there is no such issue at all.

Latest phone's are IP68 rated so I don't think "humidity" is causing the problem.

Proud user of Huawei flagship devices since 5 years. Currently, using P60 Pro and I never ever had have such green line issues. I guess Huawei uses LG displays rather than Samsung panels

I never experienced any green line on my One Plus phone. It's been more than a year now since I purchased One Plus 11. Let me tell you that I don't play any games on my phone although my phone does heat up a few times.
I had OnePlus 7T Pro and i upgraded to iQOO 12 due to their fusion with Color OS .Best decision i ever made.
humidity and high temp does play a role. consider this. i this june travelled to my hometown in odisha, i noticed one thing. while i stay in gujarat/mumbai i barely have issues in running my Galaxy watch 6 classic 47mm. i use LTE+Location(some times)and data. yes it does heat if i use all and do youtube music downloads where i can feel it but very mildly. but in my hometown same thing made my watch overheat, and it displayed message that watch is overheating and it turned some fuctionality down, screen brightness went very low, only showed digital time and screen locked out. after cooling it inside my Car yes things restored.

Two months ago, my OnePlus 9R had a green line issue. After the service center fixed it, my phone became completely dead within an hour. I went back the next day, but they refused to take responsibility, saying they returned the phone in working condition. OnePlus phones have numerous service and software issues. I do not recommend buying OnePlus phones again. Extremely disappointed with their service!
