Dude that was amazing! Had no idea how difficult it was to make that song......I always thought it was so simple....no wonder that song is STILL amazing sounding.
The original was more complex. These recreation is incredible, but the tdm card clipped in logic sound is not recreated. Anyway hit are never simple, may seem...cheers from italy
You don't need an old Macintosh, those voices are available even on the latest macOS Sonoma version. Open the terminal and enter "say -v Fred satisfaction" and you will hear the male voice saying satisfaction. The female Victoria voice has to be installed via Accessibility/Spoken content/System voice/manage voices.

The editing on this video. Wow.
I think the voice output would have been flawless, without any need for pitch adjustments, if each sentence was typed and exported separately, instead of the entire lyrics at once.
The first "push me" sounds perfect, but the second "me" in "and then just touch me" sounds slightly different, possibly due to the context given to the voice synthesizer.
The synthesizer may be modulating the tone based on the amount and position of the words relative to the entire text.
Anyway, this is a fantastic remake and I love your work!
I rarely like these "how xz by xy was made" type videos, but this is awesome. very well explained. and another plus point for the attention for details.

this is amazing work! Would love to see a breakdown of the rest of this EP! Similar techniques seemed to have been used on the whole EP(obviously), but would love to see your approach to the flangey bits of No Matter what you Do :)

Very nicely laid out! I use FL Studio myself but most of these tools translate over just fine. It's also nice how concise and straight-to-the-point this video is, not an hour long haha. I think most strength of this song comes from the arrangement, so glad you went into it. Subscribed.

This is a brilliant remix, I think the only thing that doesn't quite emulate the original is the snare. I feel like the original snare was clipped against the side-chain to give it the sound it had in the original.

I have some cheeky doubt in me, regarding if benassi brothers actually made that track.
Listen to all their discography before Satisfaction, then listen to this... the difference is astonishing. Most technics to make that sound even are tough today. All those advanced sidechain tricks, reverse reverbs, sharp clean kicks and insanely loud mix...
I have stupid theory: someone sat with them and basically made them this track with abnormal skills. Then they milked the sound with tons of other tracks basically of using this same template project of Satisfaction. Think about it... If they are so production skilled, why didn't we heard any other groundbreaking mindblowing hits from them? They just milked that Satisfaction sound and continued doing generic stuff.
In all production interviews Alle Benassi gave very vaque answers regarding how he made that sound. And no mention whatsoever on how he came to that loud brilliant mix.

@@AlexPersidskiy nvm ur actually right. It doesn't mean they didn't make the songs though djs hang out alot and share music with eachother. Some dj might have shown them the awesome sound and then they made songs with that style. Or they just made it themselves and thought it sounded cool.

i dont think it was actually made this way, i thought benny once told that he kindof used the compressor the wrong way but THE sound came out, he said he got kind of lucky. Such great story
It was apparently the Bomb Factory plugin from the TDM version of Pro Tools. i remember the plugin back in my days as a mix engineer(was never a fan of plugins of this period though. had a ways to go), but i wasn't involved in any kind of music that would push it that far to discover if it was capable of that kind of sound. i heard through the grapevine though that was what was used as i did have colleagues who worked at Ministry Of Sound who was the UK distributor and licensor for Satisfaction in the UK
