So true. Was rehearsing for the school musical and spent half the lesson explaining why I needed an extension for the science homework.
Literally had to go to my teacher the other day and ask for an extension because I have to dance around on stage with a crazy candy maker. Gotta love it

This so true, I have had conversations with teachers like this. Actually during tech week I was so dead that one of my teachers came up to me and said “I know the musical has taken over your life so do it this weekend” before she headed me and the 3 other theater kids in the room candy

it was tech week and my bio teacher wanted to assign us this big unit test that no one had any clue what the unit was about. we convinced to hold off for TWO WEEKS because of tech week and then (wait for it) recovering from tech week following the show. it felt like theatre kid heaven.

When I was in 7th grade I had practice from 3:30pm-9:00pm but by the time I packed up my light box (I’m a tech) and my mom picked me up it was like 9:35pm then I had to drive home, I got home at like 9:45,and I had to go to sleep by 10:15 :’)
