I love this recipe, and I'm glad you didn't use egg yolks to make it Yellow. I prefer one drop of Yellow food coloring and whip cream . this is a really great desert

I make mine with cream cheese! 12 ounces (one and a half blocks) cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk (one can), lemon zest (1/2 tsp), juice from three lemons, and 1/4 cup whipping cream (not Cool Whip). Mix with a hand mixer and pour into graham cracker crust. Put in the refrigerator to set, at least four hours. The best!

Honey my Mama Taylor would fix this , it was my favorite pie . I was a child so children don't ask for recipes do they . She died back in the 1970's my mom didn't have this recipe .
