This episode of Tune Club features, Stradale in Gifu Prefecture Japan that mostly tunes Hondas
for track and street use.
Shop owner Kato-san previously to drove and tuned Mitsubishi Lancer Evolutions. But as the Evo discontinued and time passed, most of his clientele shifted to Hondas and so the Stradale demo car also became an S2000 and the new FD2 Honda Civic Type R. He also touches on his tuning philosophy and goals as a performance tuner shop.

Digging the aesthetics of both the S2000 and FD2R. And props to Kato-san for his ethos of overall balance and streetability. It's much harder to build a car that's competent on both street and track, versus purely track.

The reason Japanese young people leave their sports cars lies in the low salary to maintain them and the high automobile tax and inspection.
Unless you manage to use the same judiciary and politics as in the Stone Age, young people will not be able to continue holding sports cars with peace of mind.

I need help choosing between cars. I'm 16 getting a car in 2 months. I wanna choose between a 2003 Honda Civic Ex Coupe, or a 1998 civic. Can you help on which one I should choose. I'm not really informed with cars but I wanna make it into a project.
96-98 ek9 or ej6 are good and easy to work on. Cheap replacements, you find everything you need on the internet, i would go for that

Speak about engine tuning on the S2000 , but they just buy a K-TECH 3 000 000 Yen Ｆ２４０ーＶＬＰ engine from them . Put parts from Toda for exhaust , Rays/Gram lights for 57xtreme wheels etc... That's why Spoon or J's racing will always stay the top notch tuner . Devlopement of parts over tuning assembly , even if that's well build , it's something we can all do with money and a bit of experience .
All the brands you named are top notch in terms of Hondas, so that's what the owner sells. In terms of engine development, Spoon and J’s Racing are no where the level of K-Tech. If you think Spoon and J's Racing are the epitome of Honda tuning, then I have a bridge in New York to sell you .Stradale builds one off custom projects and tune other makes as well. Look at the amount of customer cars from the overhead camera shot and one can tell that Stradale has the correct business model.
