Honestly, Manaphy kind of has the vibe of being a Kyogre pre-evo, what with it being the "Prince of the Sea" to Kyogre's "Lord of the Sea". Plus they looked like they had some kind of connection in the anime movies
Definitely one of my favourite series. Reminds me when I used to do this kinda thing with a mate. Only remember kaijira, the kyogre prevo based on a vaquita porpoise because they are adorable

I feel like Tapu Geko should be given its own ability, aswell as being Normal/Fairy. Calm Surge: Turns the ground into Calm Terrain when the Pokémon enters the battle. Calm Terrain: The user covers the area around the battlefield with a calming aura for five turns. This increases the power of Normal Type moves by 30% and raises all Pokémons Defense and Special Defense stats slightly [+1] while in effect.
I love all of these lads. This series just goes to show how much more we need pre-evos for legendary Pokemon. It makes them feel "more like Pokemon" and also more memorable. It's one reason I think I like Silvally and the Alola box arts so much, and it's something I think the recent mythicals would have greatly benefited from

Making their concepts and turning them into baby-er versions of them but adding diffirence to make them not too simmilar is very smart, those intimidating creatures just make a cuter version of them and make them less-intimidating, very good job
Tapu Geko is such an amazing design, making the tail tuft pink is so smart because when the cameleon mouth is closed he can shoot out his pink tail like an actual chameleon can. 😂❤
Tapu gego is cute but I would have based it on a hermit crab, this animal change shell when they grow so this pre evolved form could have take any shape depending on the shell it chose
They should make a Pokémon game that is based way way way before legends arceus. The main function of the game would be that the more you play, the more Pokémon would appear. This would be because Arceus is still making Pokémon. This would give “the legendary hero of old” from legends Arceus more meaning.
That could be weird but fun, like, they're not even starting with the ideas of Gyms and Pokeballs don't exist at all. That could mean you have to befriend Pokémon to have them in your "team" and you can battle everywhere you want since there aren't laws or anything yet. Maybe it could be that, the more you go through the story the more Pokémon there are. Like, first hour of gameplay there are like 15 Pokémon, including those *very* weak, and those *very* strong since Arceus isn't creating them in power order
