I try to delete the folder from my desktop. But this folder is not going to be deleted in any way. ‍see how to solve it. now go to Windows search bar. now type resource monitor. now copy the folder's name.

For me it was a file. I created a new folder, dragged it into that folder, and then deleted the folder. Seems like it worked. This happened to me once before and that time I put it into a RAR file and choose "delete files after archiving," and that did the trick.

For those whom this trick won’t work Try this -
Simply shut down the pc and ‘After Some Time’ when you will start it
You will be able to delete the folder
(Also check if any update is due on your pc , first update your pc then try this)

You can just drag the folder to like pictures, the virus will not work anymore, if u have one. And delete it from your needed desktop tabs,

For me it was some windows explorer processes hanging onto the file, a computer restart would have fixed it just fine as well... That's on me for not trying that first

I believe the reason was a file or folder is locked to some system service.
I would like to mention one possibility. Boot into Linux. I use an Ubuntu flash stick. Inside Ubuntu it should be possible to delete, since there is no service linkage.

I found all my associated handles were files open in explorer.exe and deleting didn't help - I follwed the handle name and renamed or deleted the folders/files then I could delete or move the original folder
