- Why do so many people have a problem with pineapple on pizza? Let alone enough of a problem to get Electric Callboy vocalist Nico Sallach on a song to sing about it...

I cracked the code a while back, grilled or roasted pineapple is like ubiquitously known to be good especially with various meats. The issue, I've noticed, on pizza, is that most of the time, the pineapple isn't cooked enough in those conveyor belt a pizza ovens and the flavor clashes. Grilled pineapple goes incredibly well with beef, chicken, pork or whatever else is in pepperonis and pizza toppings, thats why it works. Pizza chains just need to do some R&D into their oven tech or cooking times and I swear it will no longer be controversial
It's also often too wet and can prevent the dough from properly cooking.
It's also amazing if you make chicken and pineapple skewers and grill them with some teriyaki sauce.

I was excited to see Nico's face in the thumbnail. It totally drew me here.
They started as a music project. But they were increasingly asked to perform live. Because David plays in Electric Callboy ÷ Samurai Pizza Cats and they only want to compete as a whole group, it will be difficult to plan.

Pizza is serious stuff. Here in Germany a lot of Pizza is made by people from Turkey, India or Pakistan. And I remember a totally great chicken-broccoli-curry pizza. Maybe not exactly authentic italian :D

Samurai Pizza Cats was also the anglicized name of a very bonkers anime that aired in the early 90s or something? I wonder if there's a connection? It was pretty cool, almost as cool as this song and video.

You should check out a Band from Austria. "Julia G. - Schlag mich" (the singer of the band also "created" the band "Die heissen Fritten" on a roleplay Server of GTA V and made a music video with the same song in that game) other great songs from this band are "bullet in my head", "letters", "tacostruck" ( a parody of thunderstruck) or "bring me higher" :)

Spanish here, I've lived in austria, germany and ireland, and sadly, tuna pizza is not the worse I've seen or tasted. I've heard that in sweden there's curry banana pizza, idk who would order that atrocity, but it exists.
Tuna pizza is not "that" bad, I certainly don't enjoy it. There's places where they also add bacon to it, and the grease of the bacon with the tuna makes a horrible combination, I wanted to die.
In comparison hawaian pizza as you say it's decent, good depending on the pizza place you go to. I like to add some hot sauce to it for the extra kick.

There was a "scandal" in 2017 when the President of Iceland said in a speech to some high school students that pineapple on pizza should be outlawed. He was joking of course but still made international news :)
