Video Idea: Who is Dheeraj Singh?
A short history: He was the part of the Indian U17 team who took part in the 2017 U17 world cup which was hosted in India. He impressed the scouts of Bournemouth and Motherwell with his performances. He went to a trial with Motherwell FC and they offered him a 3 year contract. But unfortunately he couldn't get a work permit in the UK due to India's Fifa Rankings and he also hadn't represented the senior side.
Fun Fact: His height is 180 cm and he impressed an EPL club.
Today: He signed for ATK in the ISL but could only make 1 appearance for them. This season he signed for FC Goa and has made great performances. FC Goa is currently in the semifinals of the ISL.
His current performance is not good...
He has not Settled in the squad.....

India has good keeper so I don't see him as a 1st choice India keeper unless he gets more game time...he will not get it in isl so I league for few years.....

Make sure you are not moving before the shot is taken that why you aren’t of balance and can decide to move your body in the direction the ball goes 👍🏼

I’m a goalie and I made my first really hard save the other a guy took an upper 90 shot I saved it but I didn’t manage to catch he got the rebound and I got a tiny touch on my finger which pointed it at the post he got another rebound and I caught it

Wish this sort of thing existed when I was younger would have definitely gave me insight and I would have maybe found a real coach with knowledge instead of balls being shot at me every training session 4 times a week was a goal keeper for years really think I could have had a shot at semi pro with the right people around me but I'm passed it now at 25 but hoping to lead my son in the right direction in whatever it is he chooses to be
Do you need to dive in the top corner or can you get away with it with only mastering the low dives.
How does this make sense if there's a certain area of the goal that you can't even reach.
When a striker hits a ball top corner at good pace, you’re probably not gonna save it. U just want the technique down on low dives. Full aerial dives will help but they aren’t as imporyant

Goluremi, hi. I struggle in one area. Low dive shots at angles that are too far for a foot save but too close to full extension. I struggle getting down on the ball, any tips?
Have a look at the technique called the foot sweep 👍🏼
so what I always do is: I dive and make sure that I receive the ball in my upper body and clamp the ball with two hands or if it is a little further just dive for the ball without pushing off and make sure that the ball gets into both hands.
Its a little bit hard to explain but i hope it helps. :)

Ive started goalkeeping about 2 weeks ago and im the main goalie of the "team"
Last match i did a very difficult save on the top corner and it rebounced to my defenders who didnt get rid of the ball and instead tried to pass trough the attacker inside my area, needless to say they lost the ball about 4 meters away from me and i unfortunately couldnt save the ball as he shot it right at the bottom corner.
Im 5'5 so im not very good with crossed shots.
Any experienced goalies to tell me how could i have prevented that goal??
I have been a Gk For a Year now and I recommend that you Need to stretch every day and learn to jump very High.

Im no goluremi but my advice is to try to read their eyes usually they stare at where they will strike the ball or if you played againts him recently try to analyze his recent pens
