I have never seen a trailer like that! There was some serious engineering in it!
Its a shed trailer and they're like $20-$30k but will move the trailer up/down, left/right, in/out. It has a set of wheels underneath perpendicular to the drive wheels that are hydro driven to align it for pickup and drop-off. Look them on youtube, very cool to watch in action.
@Melissa Susanne SISSY Ladyboy As of yet I have never seen a trailer like that!!! There was as of yet some serious engineering in it!!!
I could sit here for hours watching Andrew's videos. Wait a minute, I AM sitting here watching video after video! Keep up the good work. Caring, planning ahead, attention to detail, it's all good.
i do concrete flat work for a living, im not going to be that guy that says "do it this way next time" it was cool to see a vastly different approach to pouring out a slab! nice work and way to get the job done!
I wasn't happy with it too.
It's a shame people think this is how concrete is actually done ...
I agree with dereck I have been pouring for 16years and it's no way that they are getting this level to each their own I'm not criticizing anyone just not how I do it
i agree with all of you lol.
Nope, that's not how we pour either. bow floating the leaves in the concrete... lol
I fitted a thumb on my mini digger after seeing yours
Its best thing since sliced bread 👍
I give the bread credit for being the best thing for so long.
That drone outro was just amazing!!
Sure was but not sure I'd want a home between a busy interstate on one side and equally busy local road on the other. ;)
Spooked me lol..like this is where the killings will happen. The previous victims are under the slab..it’s a new beginning in this new garage and no one will hear the screams over the highway.

@@Bwatt5000 I got the EXACT same feeling! Spooky music lol
F the slab.
Did you SEE THAT TRAILER?
Awesome!
Zain Z. Was the trailer not the coolest... my wife could park that shead with a few days training!!!
zian z we call that a full send !
How long before we see on on a certain channel we are now watching? 🤔
Andrew, You knowledge and skill are wonderful to see in action. I am impressed with your energy as well! Please keep the videos coming! It is a great service!
Andrew, you do it ALL , the right music and the speedup sequences and it is FUN to watch you do stuff and we learn....right to the END aerial shot !
Nice job and a lot of work. I would have used a wet screed in the middle. I also used to cob up a vibrating screed by fastening a pencil vibrator to a 2x6.
That shed trailer is pretty a pretty cool little trailer!
Yes, that trailer could do allot of different things. Great for getting a building like that into a difficult spot.
Side-shuffle is pretty clever.
@@AndrewCamarata I call them cheater trailers
@@hilham89 , I've seen videos (from film) from the 1940's when that was a proposed feature on production cars to help people parallel park.
Drew you're the man. You are surgical with your equipment.
Great job. I enjoyed it. Thanks for posting Andrew.
That trailer for the shed was sick. Never saw anything like that before.
Ciao Andrew. I forgot about your concrete skills. Bravo!
Don't remember seeing this 1st time round. Still as good though. Don't know why but its really cool watching a base being laid down, I always enjoy seeing that. The owners must be delighted with the work, hope so. Thanks :)
Glad I watched to the end. That trailer shift left and right caught my eye. I used to back three trailers loaded with cargo at the airport into a tight space. Used the heavy forklift to shift the trailers left or right lol.
I thought all the organic supposed to be removed before pouring the slab right??
nope that is only if u are leveling or building a house with heat in the floors i think
Yes! Allways! Especially in cold regions. But this is USA. Land of the free, home of the questionable building norms.
That's what I thought too
Any organic material left underneath with eventually decompose, leaving a void. Proper building technique requires all organics to be removed. This includes grass, topsoil, roots etc.
doesnt walking on it while pouring push the mesh down? thank you so much 4 all the great vids, rik
So nice to see in your follow-up video how well this held up. Our ground here in southern Oregon is not as rocky, very wet so we have lots of settling that strains everything. Nice to see an expert in upper New York terroir. Its all about the whole picture.
It’s Called, Getting it Done👍👍👍 Garage will last your life time👍. Great job, Andrew!
First time I've ever seen a magical levitating trailer, that was cool.
Nice job! I had a dude build a slab for my garage. About an hour after he left for the day, a herd of deer walked through it...
i herd about that herd
just some cool decoration

Wow that just made me nervous 😂
as a doo it your selfer I applaud him.. he didnt take the fancy test, he didnt spend thousands to hire a contractor, and will learn from every job as self taught people do.. the enjoyment of doing it yourself feel worth the flaws you may find.. it feels good to DIY
As a CDL Driver, I must say I am impressed with the drivers out there who haul structures to job sites. No two jobs site ls are ever the same. Plus, learning to back up a trailer like that is an aquired skill by itself.
Love those front discharge mixers you have in the USA. Smart!
Yeah, those trucks are nice, all wheel drive.
I spent about 24 years piloting Oshkosh front discharge mixers, and will say up front that the driver didn't do you any favors on that pour. If I had laid out a slab in that manner for any of the crews around here, they'd have drug me out of the cab and had a reckoning. However...it's just one of those experience things. :)
Those front discharge mixer kick-ass , it all depends on the experience of the driver they can make it easy for you and sometimes they can kick your ass
That trailer though!!! Pivot left and right without moving the truck. I need one of those!
i like your attention to detail customer like that , always looking forward to your new videos,
great job
I love the expanse views of the forest, so beautiful and peaceful.
Glad you showed the roads at the end! I thought it might have been a a quiet secluded place!
Omg this was mesmerizing, great choice in music unusual lot location.
Oh Snap I just realized this is the first Video that I first discovered your Channel and Work so many years ago. Keep up the great content and smart work.
Pretty cool prefab garage. drop and ready to go AWESOME
Nice work mate 👊🇦🇺
Nice job Andrew as always
Thanks
Andrew, You are truly an artist with every machine you drive. It is amazing to watch your work created before my eyes. I also love the way your dog sticks with you and knows when to get out of your way. Reminds me of a German Shepard I had for years until cancer took him away.
Always fun watching you do a job .
High end concrete work!!! Very high end Garage!!! Highest level of music!!! Owner clearly wanted a secure place to park his Pinto, or his wife's Pacer...
You said screw the screeding halfway through and started with the fresno lol
Tripp ya. Not impressed
@@roncarter508 How would you know he slab is flat from edge to edge? Smooth, sure.
@Jason Young Exactly
Andrew's videos never cease to entrance!
That trailer was BADAZZ !!! Who ever invented that thing, knew exactly what they wanted and probably had it sketched out for blueprints. Amazing how great it set that shed or garage.
The last shot plus the music made me feel I was watching the ending to some horror movie lol
Hahahaha 😂😖😖
Yep. You don’t know exactly what crime had been committed but you know it will be 30 years before some old retired sheriff comes poking around and kicks up some gravel with his cowboy boots.

100% I Was going to comment on this very thing. Some strange mystery/ Dragnet uneasy feeling lol!
If you get a mixer that has a tight slump like that on initial start and you ordered a 5 inch slump it generally means that the driver either did not slump it correctly or it was batched with dry aggregate which is not good for the concrete or you nice job though I was a mixer driver and batcher for fifteen years
Or, it means the driver stoped for breakfast.
amazing work! helped me a lot with my garage! thank you!
Wow..... You have a lot of subscribers, but I can't imagine why? This is only the second video of yours I have watched, and your overall concrete work leaves a lot to be desired. Looking at those bullfloat marks every day would drive me crazy.

Awesome job, love the shots with that drone, well done.
that's a cool trailer, this isn't for everyone but when pouring concrete, if you have some left over fill 5 or 10 litre buckets with it and pour into rubbish bags, one bucket per bag, tie a knot in it and leave it on level ground, you end up with stepping stones.
Yeah, that trailer could do all kinds of things. That's an interesting idea. Might try that. But its pretty easy to just get real stones.
Nice no footers on the pad and no bolts in the concrete hope no tornadoes happen it will fly to Kansas
uKNOWuLIKE that How to move a container
uKNOWuLIKE that cool
Beautiful job, especially on the pad and hats off to the shed delivery guy!!
Love your work. Another great job.
Perfect job, Andrew !!!
good job man
I think you did a great job. to many youtube out of work inspectors & builders on here. Great Job Andrew !
No just concrete men with 20 plus years experience. But who would want to listen to those guys right? Just watch a video of a kid that doesn't know what he's doing and tell him the terrible job he just posted is great. No participation trophies in the big boy world playa.
WOW! A trailer with a stern thruster! What a cool idea and a Labor saving device to boot.
Andrew if you will get an edger and go around the edge of your concrete slab it will keep the edge from breaking and being ruff.
Ppl , bitching about the creat pour...lol

" How cheap can we do this? "
My neighbor had a contractor do this same exact thing. Never removed grass just dumped Stone and formed. Poured 6" of concrete and left. After winter he called me to come see his pad, which I did and I was just shocked to see it cracked and parts sunk. He ended up explaining how the inspector told him it would be fine. Along with the contractor. Of course the contractor went by the engineers plans so he said. I ended up cleaning up the mess and starting over. Which cost him more but I explained that he got what he paid for. Now he has a nice pad with a 24x30 garage on. And is extremely happy with me for steering him in the right direction. If my reps on the line then it gets done right, even if in the end I only brake even on it at least my reputation is still good. To me I'd rather save my reputation then cut corners. Not trying to sound like a dick trust me. I like the work you do, and you are an excellent operator. I know what its like to deal customers that want the best but only want to spend peanuts to get it. Lol
"Break", not Brake. "Than", not Then.
go back to english lessons mate its you tube people tune in to see and experience others lives ..maybe get one yourself ...not an advocate of the trolls
The only trolls are the ones worrying about speeling and gramer.
Keerful now, lee has built many a concrete deck and not one has ever cracked or shifted. In addition his majestic Lincoln Log homes are world renowned! ;)
Like they say you only get what you paid for. If the owner didn't have the money to do it right it's not his fault. And as far as a guarantee goes yes it will crack. Guaranteed. That's what expansion joints are for. Give him a break.
The slab was ok. But all the other things you did were great. Especially dismantling the truck. We got a laugh from that. And my wife loves the scenery that you show. Especially all the mountains.
Nice work...I like how one screed across on one side then the floater takes it from there. Skill.
Thats not skill that's half assed.
I cant seem to find anyone where i live that can do a halfway decent job on anything.......apparently they are all trolling people doing it themselves on you tube. Now I know!! Looks great to me, I'd be totally happy with it!
Scott McEllhiney well that just shows a fool and his money are parted easy, that building and slab will be lucky to last 10 years . The bottom plate will sit in water
Check your contractors for any Better Business Bureau ratings and/or activity. Also check for reviews on "Home Advisor" site, "Angies List", and your town's Chamber of Commerce (if that is what its called), etc. . If the contractor is to do plumbing and/or electrical work, for example, check them for licenses. Ask friends and relatives about them too.
This is piss pour job. None of the edges are finished. You can see huge stride marks from the Fresno. It was burned in(shine finish) to stop the freeze thaw. No proper compaction underneath slab. No joints cut. That shit would be getting ripped out on any job site around this area.
Scott call me up ill come and slop some concrete on the ground and not finish for ya anytime. I love stupid customers!
That shed trailer is really cool how it can move around
yeah it uses something called wheels, check it out!
Its a cheater trailer
Great video! You covered from the beginning to the end. Most other videos don't do that.
When you sign the front of the check then you may comment. Other wise try crochet. Love the drone and kinda reminds me of Arkansas.
this is like painting autos. many know how while sitting on cans watching you do it.
Curt Ray So true!!! I was thinking the same thing. Everybody is master craftsmen, until they are asked to do something and then they go get on RUclips like the rest of us. LOL 😂 YOU HAVE TO LOVE ALL THESE KEYBOARD WARRIORS!!!
Awesome video but that garage floor looked real real rough and lots of leaves were troweled into it
The lady says she likes the "Leaf fossils"
Ur on another level we all know this. Maybe be nicer or offer andrew a workshop when u visit NY

Great job mate , enjoyed the video .
Nice job, still catching up, thought I has seen most. The screeding looked tricky with the leaves !
Wow man, GREAT camera work! A lot of hard work went into making this video happen. Loved the ending by the way, when the drone rolls out and catches a glimpse of the sky. Cheers!
Shouldnt you remove topsoil along with the grass then put rock, sand,or gravel down.
where Andrew lives there's rock inches below the dirt you see. it's different from where most people live so nobody understands why he does things different than they do.
@Rob F everyone's a concrete expert. guess what, Andrew did't put the video up to ask how to do it, but everyone thinks they know better lol. It's concrete, not rocket science. If Andrew and the customer are happy with the job what the hell does it matter to you?
@pete smyth So you're saying all customers are clueless and have no idea how things work? Yet every person on u tube knows everything? lol and why are you telling us your short bus arrived, that's not something i'd be bragging about Peter. Your mommy needs to get you out of the basement once in awhile so you can see what the real world is like :)
@pete smyth Look everyone, it's Peter the pecker licker trying to sound smart :)
farm.central. ohi
The rock backdrop in the area you live/work in is awesome, wish we had that kinda stuff
Yeah, I like those cliffs.
Thank you for this reminder of why I do all my own work. For all the reasons already listed in the comment section from people who have a clue how to lay a concrete base properly I'd be horrified if I'd paid a contractor to do a job and they did it like this!
Well done!
Thanks
I like the location of the property, between two highways. Nice.
What did you say??
I couldn't hear you with all this HIGHWAY TRAFFIC!!

Your videos are fantastic, thanks.
Great scenery
Love your videos. You do fun projects
What a strange place to live ...with two busy highways on each side of the property
Albert Einstein must be as noisy as hell.

Well indeed noisy, but ev cars are pushing out all gas operated vechiles so in 20 years you wont hear them anymore, maybe just an old bike :)
Arturas1244: Don’t hold your breath on that.
House probably predates those highways
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL JOB, IN A BEAUTIFUL AREA.......WONDERFUL
You’re very good with your equipment!
I'm pretty sure the owner isn't going to live in this garage 😂 for all the bad comments I'm just letting y'all know she isn't living in that garage! Good work Andrew!
They had no idea what to do. Kmsl they gave up with the screed board skipped the float went straight to the Fresno and nobody hit the edges lmao ooh and they didn't have a grade to start with SMH
I think you should have gone with two car garage
He didn't pick it
Nice video Andrew, thanks.
That is very beautiful country!
NY State is very beautiful, if you ignore the cesspool below the TZ Bridge.
There is a lot to be learned from the discussion in some of the more detailed and informative comments. Thanks to the authors of those comments, and to Mr. Camarata for providing a basis for the more informed comments with his post.
Wow. The haters on this video are really something. I have kicked around the idea of putting some videos on RUclips but whoa.....I am double thinking that now. I don't think I could take the abuse. This pad is for a portable shed not a 80,000 sq. ft. Super WalMart. Did you ever think maybe he ordered fibers? He needs rebar for a slab for a 2,000 lb. shed? You seriously think he should have brought out a whirlybird for that slab? Maybe he should have rented the 2 man kind huh? Sure he could have done a little small footer around the outside for support and tried to get the leaves out. But again. It's for a portable shed and it's a simple floating slab on top the ground and he made it 8". The homeowner will probably put his riding lawn mower in there. Doesn't even look like he will have electric in it. Man you guys are vicious. I did a slab almost exactly like this for a little workshop on my 13 acres and guess what? IT"S STILL THERE years later. No cracks either. Geez it's just a video on RUclips of a simple project. .
Right? People were flipping out over no footing. The plans were for a 4" slab, no footing or anything. I made it an 8" because it didn't effect the cost at all because there is a minimum concrete order of 7 yards. The customer is happy with it, she even likes the "Leaf fossils" in the concrete, they do look cool. There are no cracks in it over a year later.
@@AndrewCamarata I bet you half the housing made in the 1920s was done worse and they are still standing. A lot of butt hurt people think you need to do things their way or it will fall over. Yet when you watch them they spend more time on cell phone then doing work.
@@AndrewCamarata I'm sure you are right about it not cracking. An 8" thick, 20' x 20' square slab won't crack as it shrinks. It wouldn't create enough internal stress to crack. If the slab were bigger or thinner or tied to a frost wall it could but not a floating slab that size.
I notice some You Tubers delete their trolls. So far Andrew leaves them on. I really like EC as he poured a slab in his shop: not all jobs require the same level of 'perfection'. Man power, added tools, time are all, in fact, money. Every project has its own level of enough. You, Andrew, know 'enough'. Thank you.
For what it is for. That slab is just fine. At first I thought there should be footings and rocks compacted. But its thick.
I can't stand ignorant people getting angry and calling each other childish names because they want to be right. In my opinion, They are the ones with the limited abilities. You can do a job different ways to get the same and a great out come or product.
Had a friend that thinks I should buy expensive tools and product to do jobs. I buy what I can afford and I get my work done just fine with great outcome. I've known people that spend lots of money on tools and products and it brakes of fail just like the inexpensive tools and products.
I'm all for peoples feedback/ opinions. But if you are just on here to insult people. Then you really don't have much of a life. You must really hate your life.
COMMON COURTESY PEOPLE. thats all it takes.
Nicely done !
COOL Trailer! Check out that sideways action!
Did they send you a hot load or something? The slump on that concrete is gnarly.
It was coming out too dry at first, and got stuck on the shoot.
that came out like 4 slump to dry
The guy should have rev'd up and charge spun the drum when he got there and then checked his slump.

Luv em ! you always do a good job, must say !
What’s the fabric you laid down ? Damn those leaves 🍁
Thanks, glad you like the shirts.

That cement truck driver was all over the place with that shoot.
Beautiful drone footage at the end 👍
4:18 wasn't it better to remove the top layer of the earth first? And then sprinkle these pebbles?
I imagine that shed will be long gone and that slab will be there forever.
That's an awesome trailer it was delivered on
That concrete truck is a game changer!!
Please start screeting your concrete before you bow float it works the concrete down especially on the edges which makes it easier for a better finish without ripples it's more work but the end results are way better
Give him a break He was only one working , Guy in the red sweater was totally useless. Concrete was starting to set , Raked it as close as he could then bull floated the heck out of it .
@@paulgagnon8396 But he said "please" so...
Nice work... I just noticed your excavator has a mechanical thumb...That makes some the things you do with it even more impressive!
ps: I really wish the pre-fab folks weren't so cheap with their buildings. With no real eves or gable overhang the walls on that new garage will take full brunt of the weather. You'll be tearing it down too in 10 years.
Well hopefully it last longer than that.
You can always add on gutters later. They don't travel well.
Oh thank god you have a video on this!
That view at the end was beautiful.
Threw me for a curveball when you brought in the garage. Was expecting a bigger garage but they went for the parking spot instead
The other part of the slab is going to get a roof built off the garage.
Andrew Camarata kinda thought it would be a carport
OK. That answers my next question. I figured space for a trailer or yard vehicles or maybe a barbecue grill. Or guest parking. (Don't want the guests to be TOO comfortable!)
That concrete slab is going to crack pretty soon....
