Electrical and Computer Engineering Capstone Project - Spring 2024

Mizzou Engineering students think about how they can solve real-world problems before they step outside the classroom and into their careers.
It’s part of the Missouri Method, where students engage in learning by doing. That practice begins with hands-on opportunities in lab courses and undergraduate research and culminates with senior capstone classes. These classes allow students to apply what they have learned as undergraduates to develop solutions to the world’s problems.
One group of electrical and computer engineering students set out to solve the overuse of power during peak consumption hours. They created a prototype that of their project's design system that charges and discharges a battery just like their proof of concept.
