That line is as suspicious as Beavis and Butt-Head's take on It's A Wonderful Life. *George Bailey:* Oh Mary look. Everyone gave me money so I won't kill myself.
I love how this has the vibes of 2000s RUclips skits. Instead of being overproduced and beating a joke to death, it's just a bunch of kids having fun and doing an iconic Simpsons scene. Makes me feel super nostalgic :)
@@lunchmeat9118 I like Gen 2. Something about the day/night cycle and the change of the music. It's nice. But Gen 1 is close to me. The last pokemon game I've played w/ my brother was Gen 3. He liked Gen 3 more. Only cause he caught Latias... I think. The option was to watch one of them.
I laughed out loud when it went from night to day in the kitchen. Somehow it adds to the audacity of it. Also, the life action made me realize Chalmers is way more dense than I thought for not smelling the kitchen burning!
I loved the facial expressions imitating the ones in the cartoon, and the way he stood up on his toes for a brief moment like in the cartoon. The attention to detail is on point!
Yeah the kinda thing I would've added to my favourites over on internet explorer as a child, I believe I saw a high school project like this but it was about a guy who thought he was Link from the Legend of Zelda I would show you but I can't find it, there is a strong possibility that Nintendo took it down for "copyright infringement" and if that's the case shame on Nintendo for being petty enough to take down something a high schooler did for fun.
I love how Chalmers sounds so monotone throughout the whole video and out of nowhere screams "GOOD LORD WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THERE" with so much emotion behind it. Like he saved all his energy only for that line.
I like how in the scene with Skinner in the kitchen it's completely dark outside, but when he comes out to serve the hamburgers you can clearly see that there's bright daylight outside the windows. Makes it look like he took all night to buy fast food and Chalmers just waited patiently at the table the entire time lol.
Excellent recreation, and very funny! I loved how you both recreated parts of the dialogue and animation so accurately, such as 2:06 and 2:53. It's nice to see that new life is still being breathed into the Steamed Hams multiverse.
This is 100% classic RUclips. What the platform was made for, imo. If the Steamed Hams meme was around when I was in high school, I can see my self doing something along these lines. Thanks so much for sharing.
This video randomly popped up in my recommended. You guys are excellent actors! Good work. Now all you need is a great video editor and you’re set. I’ll be patiently waiting for this channel to become iconic. Peace out! -Ryan

I loved this. It's exactly as it says on the tin, but at the same time, it sells it short, honestly. The actors really got the little mannerisms and delivery correct. I always noticed how superintendent Chalmers always opened and examined the burger while questioning Skinner about it before putting it back together and flipping it around to take another bite. You guys did the same and it's really fantastic. It's the attention to detail with the utter lack of budget, the cobbled together costumes, and the total earnestness of it that makes it so good. I'm glad highschoolers are still producing stuff like this because this is something I think many can relate to. Lots of us did little videos and skits at this age and were growing up with things like RUclips just becoming a thing (on the tail end of Myspace). Great job, 10/10, made me feel nostalgic and ancient.
yess the algorithm is doing it's job and showing me a video that, although it doesn't have that many views (yet), I definitely want to see. great job guys!
Omg this is so nostalgic, despite being fairly recent. Takes me back to the wild west of YT when people with 0 budget would just make skits for fun. Good shit guys.
i had to take a look back at the calendar to confirm it was 2022 and not 2012 RUclips. This reminded me so much of channels that made sketches like Smosh and Nigahiga back in the day. Thanks for taking me back to better time boys. Also that scream was exquisite.
Noah, aka Seymour, has an Adam Driver quality about him. I could see this guy becoming someone to keep an eye on. We've only just begun to see where this dude is headed.
Yeah this really does feel like a time capsule of an early RUclips video. Well done, lads. I could actually see "made by a high schooler", early-RUclips-looking videos becoming a meme format or genre in itself.

Yeah, I only got into the simpsons (and was born after) the decline was in full swing, and I have immense respect for early simpsons. Thank you!
