Hes curtenly a comedian isnt he. hes really funny and it just seems to roll of his tounge. im glad he can do interviews (i no he stuggles i think he interviews better than some with no problems) and such now its nice to see that side of him. It's normal for people who stammer to have good days and bad days. Gareth says his gets worse when he's tired or not been working on his speech exercises. A lot of the time when Gareth was on tv not stuttering it's because he wasn't being interviewed or it was carefully edited. Even now that he's been working hard on his speech he will sometimes struggle. That's normal.
Well I didn't put it to try and upset people and to be honest I wouldn't take the piss out of someone face to face if they had a speech problem so I don't know why I said it on here. I've apoplogise if I've upset his fans but I don't think it's that offensive it's just like calling someone lanky or fat you don't mean harm by it it's just something you say........
Your "joke" wasn't going to upset Gareth. If you are going to make daft comments on the web, think who might read it. Some will sometimes struggle with words themselves and if that wasn't enough, they worry about what people think while they are struggling. They aren't all as happy and confident with themselves as Gareth is. The fear that everyone is waiting to mock them, or just too impatient, can be very debilitating. And then they read your "joke", and not for the first time I'm sure.
i remember i saw him live peforming cinderella play in a theatre with bare schools and he did one of his "apparent" hit songs and know one knew it and i just burst out laughing, he looked so embarrassed it was so funny
Just so you know, you accidentally entered your age as 23 in your profile. I'm guessing the form was a bit tricky for you, but perhaps next time you can ask a grown-up to help. It might be a good idea to get them to check your comments too, so you don't make a total fool of yourself. You'll only be embarassed when you grow-up and develop self-awareness.
