Wow! I just binge watched Living Springs Retreat videos! Wish I had discovered Barbara earlier in my life, but thankful for discovering her now. I haven't seen anything on fingernails, specifically ridges. (It may be out there but...) Many say it's just common; it's just a part of aging. The ridges are annoying because they chip, they snag on everything. A video on what our fingernails are telling us, as well as what to do about it, would be interesting.

@@djb570 this is where so many people are confused! “Carb” which are carbohydrates have been brainwashed as a bad thing (manmade word, carb) The ones that are grown like fruits and vegetables has the fiber we need, nutrient dense foods, the man made products like cookies, cakes and breads are what she wants us to avoid not so nutrient dense foods. When people go on a “low carb diet” they miss out on all the nutrients from the fruits and vegetables we need. Best way to put it is eat what God provides and stay away from manmade products. Herb barring seeds that aren’t grown gmo as she explained. What farmers grow organically they also make their own breads from actual grains we should be enjoying. (Not all the enriched grains)

Thank you for sharing. I started the Cayenne pepper with castor oil patches on my thyroid today to help wake it up. I have a suppressed Thyroid. I’m gonna see what the levels are on my next three month visit to the doctor. I also stopped my statin drug for cholesterol.
I was diagnosed with tachycardia due to LDL and I took SORTIS for lowering LDL cholesterol for two months. Serious memory problems + loss of muscle mass. I lost 10 kg, from 65 kg to 55. I stopped the treatment because there are natural long-term reduction methods.
I donated a portion of my liver in 2019. I'm now 20 pounds heavier. I run up and down mountains and for almost a year I lifted weights 5 days a week. I have struggled! 13 pounds was gained since July this year. Recently I've been led to focus on my liver, detoxing. Some things I've been doing: Berberine; drinking water from my Burkee; cranberry/lemon/ACV drink; a liver fat burning smoothie made with organic blueberries, homemade kefir, 2 cups organic kale and filtered water (supposed to get rid of 50% of liver fat in 2 weeks); protein in the form of eggs; veggies. Yesterday I almost gagged on a smoothie I made with 5 celery stalks, 2 tsp of tumeric, a tablespoon of Barley green powder and maybe a half of a tsp of Celtic sea salt. I also take zinc, vitamin D, vitamin B 12, a probiotic that kills candida, magnesium, yerba mate, something that balances my hormones and blood sugar that's plant based. I also cut out sugar (today is day 2. I'm determined not to do the powdered stevia it even honey or maple syrup. Something has been blocking my weight loss), I also take Lugol's iodine and I'm working on intermittent fasting until 6 when it comes to solid food. In other words, I'm GOING FOR IT. I BELIEVE THERE IS A ROOT PROBLEM GOING ON. I don't know how many toxins may still be in my body from pain meds and anesthesia when I donated. I don't know if my gut needs help after they gave two rounds of strong antibiotics when I donated 6 years ago!! I probably still have toxins from all the vaccines I took as a child and young adult (19 total)! I watched Barbara's video on balancing hormones, then I went to your RUclips channel. This video was AT THE TOP. IT'S JUST WHAT I NEEDED!! HALLELUJAH!!!! Getting at the root. I eat eggs, but other than that I've practically been a vegetarian. My lentil bean soup is so good my children ask me to make it for their birthday parties. I pretty much stay away from carbs and I'm motivated to give them up. Knowledge is power! I buy raw milk and I'll use that for kefir, but I believe drinking milk and eating cheese, especially drinking milk, has been blocking me from losing weight. Thank you so much for this info! I live in a small town in England and we can't really get good flavorsom food, it's all about process food and fruit and veg that doesn't taste of anything, I believe most are truly starving and I don't say that lightly. What happened to our food and what happened to our right to good food. ❤

Pork fat raises LDL cholesterol. I checked my blood work after eating small amounts like spread on bread and some very unhealthy hams or cheese. Even in this case it helps. I am saying don't eat unhealthy food but eat healthy fats of your choosing. My choice is lard but definitely not everyday. I eat pork cracklings. I don't overdo these. Weight lifting definitely helps. I am almost 50, slim, and have artery problems and am trying to exercise regularly and chuck the white bread out which is very hard. I find white flour very hard to discard.....

I was just told i have to go to a liver specialist because my enzymes are over 1000!! Almost to the cirrhosis phase. Did a flush this weekend and now will go carnivore. Hopefully after 6 months this helps clear it up. I’ve had brittle nails, edema, spider veins, Arthritis pain everywhere, memory issues, weight gain severe, and now have plantar fasciitis.

I have a Hashimoto’s disease problem fatty liver came after that and fiber tumors in my uterus. Doctor said they can’t take my uterus out because of my fatty liver so I’m trying to take care of my liver with lemon and also cayenne pepper and it’s working trying to lose weight. I used to 160 now I’m at 2:20. I’ll go down to 197 and then back up to 220 from the food. I’m eating a bread. I never drink milk. I never drink sodas I drink mostly water and lemon water. I do walk 30 minutes a day every day I eat a little bit of breadand some sweets I pray I do believe in Jesus Christ and my hormones are all Adaline and just wanted to see all your videos that I can get. My experience is that if I eat steak (even fat trimmed off) I get chest pain, angina. Same if I eat other fats. I've managed angina since 1993 without doctors meds. I daily took an Olive leaf capsule for 18 months but now I pick and dry olive leaves at home. I only get chest pain if I eat fat, even the fat in avocado. I can eat lots of carbs and yet have no chest pain..

I'm from the Canary Islands. We love our legumes. I eat homemade lentil soup everyday. I use my grandmother's recipe, which she got from her grandmother. I grew up on lentejas, garbanzos, judias. When I was little, my mother used to tell me a children's story every time she made "Rancho", which is a Canarian chickpea soup. It was about "Garbanzito" who was eaten by a cow and his mother would cry out "Garbanzito..¿donde estás?" I loved that story and it certainly got me to eat all my soup.

I have started on it already. Its funny because I learned to cook my mother's recipes just from years of growing up watching her make them. She has never really sat me down and given me detailed instructions on how to make them. One of my favourites is called Arroz a la Cubana. It's a traditional Canarian dish made of fried eggs, rice, fritura (home-made tomato puree) and fried banana. My mother made it with fried chips but I'm too lazy and leave them out.

I’ve been in statins for 10 years, stopped then started back bc my medical doctor scared me. Quitting today!! I might have to find a new doctor but I’m good with that. To detox it’s a matter of what you eat. Check out her other videos on foods. Also caster oil packs are none to detox the liver. Starting that today myself. Not all caster oil is created equal. It must be hexane free, organic and in an amber glass bottle.

She is having regular eye injections but her vision is still getting worse. I tried to advise her to eat and drink better but she is very stuck in her ways. Is there anything you can suggest please. Help! Mums liver bile duct is blocked from a mass on the outside of it and has jaundice now because of it. The surgeons don't sound confident of key hole surgery to move it out of the way... will castor oil help make the mass smaller.. I don't know how much time there is? It's 4th day she is very yellow.

Have you tried freezing the bread overnight and then reheat/toast it when you eat? This will turn the carbs in the bread into resistant starch, and bypass the small intestines. The starch will act as a probiotic (or prebiotics, I forgot) and feed the good bacteria in the big intestines.

What if u have your gall bladder removed because of stones ?? I really feel unbalanced sometimes and my vision changed over these 10 years after the surgery !!

I was same as you. recently changed my diet. did away with carbs. just eat protein fruit and veg...I feel so much better and lost weight.

I was diagnosed with tachycardia due to LDL and I took SORTIS for lowering LDL cholesterol for two months. Serious memory problems + loss of muscle mass. I lost 10 kg, from 65 kg to 55. I stopped the treatment because there are natural long-term reduction methods.
It was most likely caused by high triglycerides

I donated a portion of my liver in 2019. I'm now 20 pounds heavier. I run up and down mountains and for almost a year I lifted weights 5 days a week. I have struggled! 13 pounds was gained since July this year. Recently I've been led to focus on my liver, detoxing. Some things I've been doing: Berberine; drinking water from my Burkee; cranberry/lemon/ACV drink; a liver fat burning smoothie made with organic blueberries, homemade kefir, 2 cups organic kale and filtered water (supposed to get rid of 50% of liver fat in 2 weeks); protein in the form of eggs; veggies. Yesterday I almost gagged on a smoothie I made with 5 celery stalks, 2 tsp of tumeric, a tablespoon of Barley green powder and maybe a half of a tsp of Celtic sea salt. I also take zinc, vitamin D, vitamin B 12, a probiotic that kills candida, magnesium, yerba mate, something that balances my hormones and blood sugar that's plant based. I also cut out sugar (today is day 2. I'm determined not to do the powdered stevia it even honey or maple syrup. Something has been blocking my weight loss), I also take Lugol's iodine and I'm working on intermittent fasting until 6 when it comes to solid food. In other words, I'm GOING FOR IT. I BELIEVE THERE IS A ROOT PROBLEM GOING ON. I don't know how many toxins may still be in my body from pain meds and anesthesia when I donated. I don't know if my gut needs help after they gave two rounds of strong antibiotics when I donated 6 years ago!! I probably still have toxins from all the vaccines I took as a child and young adult (19 total)! I watched Barbara's video on balancing hormones, then I went to your RUclips channel. This video was AT THE TOP. IT'S JUST WHAT I NEEDED!! HALLELUJAH!!!! Getting at the root. I eat eggs, but other than that I've practically been a vegetarian. My lentil bean soup is so good my children ask me to make it for their birthday parties. I pretty much stay away from carbs and I'm motivated to give them up. Knowledge is power! I buy raw milk and I'll use that for kefir, but I believe drinking milk and eating cheese, especially drinking milk, has been blocking me from losing weight. Thank you so much for this info! Today was the first day I found out you have an actual retreat center! I'll bet it's booked solid!!!
I love your enthusiasm and how is it going, by the way? My only concern is with you cutting out so many things at one time. How will you know what's actually working? There may be some foods you could have kept in moderation.
I live in a small town in England and we can't really get good flavorsom food, it's all about process food and fruit and veg that doesn't taste of anything, I believe most are truly starving and I don't say that lightly. What happened to our food and what happened to our right to good food. ❤
Just learn to eat savoury from the real flavour of food. Add some salt, pepper, cinnamon, cumin, coriander etc for flavour. It will be great.

Pork fat raises LDL cholesterol. I checked my blood work after eating small amounts like spread on bread and some very unhealthy hams or cheese. Even in this case it helps. I am saying don't eat unhealthy food but eat healthy fats of your choosing. My choice is lard but definitely not everyday. I eat pork cracklings. I don't overdo these. Weight lifting definitely helps. I am almost 50, slim, and have artery problems and am trying to exercise regularly and chuck the white bread out which is very hard. I find white flour very hard to discard.....
More meat helps with cravings. For me I just don't bring it in the home.. carb addiction.

I was just told i have to go to a liver specialist because my enzymes are over 1000!! Almost to the cirrhosis phase. Did a flush this weekend and now will go carnivore. Hopefully after 6 months this helps clear it up. I’ve had brittle nails, edema, spider veins, Arthritis pain everywhere, memory issues, weight gain severe, and now have plantar fasciitis.

All the foods i dont like was on my lists of not to eat an all the good ones were there to. I cannot tolerate peanuts an peanut butter. An any form of breads. It was eye opening to know there was a site for this. An it all fit me.

I have a Hashimoto’s disease problem fatty liver came after that and fiber tumors in my uterus. Doctor said they can’t take my uterus out because of my fatty liver so I’m trying to take care of my liver with lemon and also cayenne pepper and it’s working trying to lose weight. I used to 160 now I’m at 2:20. I’ll go down to 197 and then back up to 220 from the food. I’m eating a bread. I never drink milk. I never drink sodas I drink mostly water and lemon water. I do walk 30 minutes a day every day I eat a little bit of breadand some sweets I pray I do believe in Jesus Christ and my hormones are all Adaline and just wanted to see all your videos that I can get. Thank you.

My experience is that if I eat steak (even fat trimmed off) I get chest pain, angina. Same if I eat other fats. I've managed angina since 1993 without doctors meds. I daily took an Olive leaf capsule for 18 months but now I pick and dry olive leaves at home. I only get chest pain if I eat fat, even the fat in avocado. I can eat lots of carbs and yet have no chest pain..

We, Black and Hispanics, were raised on beans, too and everything else you are teaching. They come from GOD, and our African ancestors passed them down to generations.
I'm from the Canary Islands. We love our legumes. I eat homemade lentil soup everyday. I use my grandmother's recipe, which she got from her grandmother. I grew up on lentejas, garbanzos, judias. When I was little, my mother used to tell me a children's story every time she made "Rancho", which is a Canarian chickpea soup. It was about "Garbanzito" who was eaten by a cow and his mother would cry out "Garbanzito..¿donde estás?" I loved that story and it certainly got me to eat all my soup.

I have started on it already. Its funny because I learned to cook my mother's recipes just from years of growing up watching her make them. She has never really sat me down and given me detailed instructions on how to make them. One of my favourites is called Arroz a la Cubana. It's a traditional Canarian dish made of fried eggs, rice, fritura (home-made tomato puree) and fried banana. My mother made it with fried chips but I'm too lazy and leave them out.

Barbara i really enjoyed hearing your message i was really intrigued how you explained how cholesterol works in our bodies. How that cholesterol is not the cause of stroke and heat attacks but the things we put in our bodies and also from things from the environment we live in. I would love to do a safe detox to get these toxins out. I believe in your program and would love to know more about it. I’ve been in statins for 10 years, stopped then started back bc my medical doctor scared me. Quitting today!! I might have to find a new doctor but I’m good with that.
To detox it’s a matter of what you eat. Check out her other videos on foods. Also caster oil packs are none to detox the liver. Starting that today myself. Not all caster oil is created equal. It must be hexane free, organic and in an amber glass bottle.

She is having regular eye injections but her vision is still getting worse. I tried to advise her to eat and drink better but she is very stuck in her ways. Is there anything you can suggest please. It's heartbreaking seeing her so scared. 😢

Help! Mums liver bile duct is blocked from a mass on the outside of it and has jaundice now because of it. The surgeons don't sound confident of key hole surgery to move it out of the way... will castor oil help make the mass smaller.. I don't know how much time there is? It's 4th day she is very yellow.

I find it very hard to digest bread.. and I love bread. I can only eat sourdough.. I never knew why this happens to me
Have you tried freezing the bread overnight and then reheat/toast it when you eat? This will turn the carbs in the bread into resistant starch, and bypass the small intestines. The starch will act as a probiotic (or prebiotics, I forgot) and feed the good bacteria in the big intestines.

Another dr. I started watching videos (very interesting & informative) of recently is Marianne Teitelbaum, who is into holistic healing through ayurveda.
milk thistle will help neutralize a large swath of those toxins and also boost glutathione and help the liver to recover as well.
Well I believe that the majority of this is true - other than us requiring a plant based diet, and fibre. These points I question, and would like more information on. I have been Keto and felt VERY good when my body produced ketones. Isn’t it true that we are either fat burners or carb/sugar burners? We cannot be both. Our bodies will not produce ketones when there are carbs available. Carbs stop fat burning. Yes, even carbs in vegetables. Please refute this with me!

What if u have your gall bladder removed because of stones ?? I really feel unbalanced sometimes and my vision changed over these 10 years after the surgery !!
I use a supplement called Stone Free that I found on Amazon. It breaks down the stones. Highly recommend it. It’s been 7 years since I’ve had any issues.

I believe as long as it's natural it's great but it can't beat coconut oil
