I am so grateful you are my teacher. Your Positivity and encouragement brightened My days. You made me a better more thoughtful person.... Thank you so much🙃🙃
VERY IMPRESSIVE METAL-CARBONYL VIDEO.THOUGH I AM A PH.D HOLDER CANDIDATE BUT I TELL THERE IS A LOT OF EFFORT OF MANY ORGANOMETALLIC BOOKS' INFORMATION,THAT YOU DELIVERED,IS VERY ATTRACTIVE. GREAT JOB.KEEP DOING AND DOING........SO ON.
Mam u r much more sundhar but your teaching method is also much more sundhar than u. So when u teaches my concentration is totally on ur teaching. Thanks alot
Ma'am ap bahot bahot Accha padhati hn apka koi jawab nhi h .Maine you tube ki bahot saari videos dekhi h but apke hr lecture me jis trh se concept clear hota h iska jawab nhi h but ma'am ek request h ap voice ko thoda paas se record kriye please jisse awaz ek dum clear sunayi se
Thanku madam..some part of this vedio is my seminar topic..also iam an MSc.student..mam plz say something about 'experimental evidence for pi bonding in metal carbonyl complexes'
Mam, I understood all except the example #4 and #5. I'm confused with the bond lengthening concept explanation. If an alkyl group has e- withdrawing group such as F or CN, back bonding between metal and ligand should be least, no? Bc the E.W.G will lessen +I effective of the alkyl group, lessening the e- donating ability of the ligand to metal...if e- donating from ligand isn't great, then pi back bonding from metal would not be great. In example 7 you mention that, F is EWG so pi backhanding is less, therefore v(CO) is greater....Did I miss something in the video? I am studying for my MSc...My American professor does not explain well. I use your video for understanding my lesson so thank you so much
Mam doubt in qs no 4 and 7. in as 4 CN is EWG .so back bonding more and lengthen c c bond but qs 7 based on donar ability ch3 has more .. also back bonding .in there some doubt explain pls mam
In question no. 4 more the donar ability more Will b back Bonding ,and metal ligand Bond Will be shorter and c_c bond will be longer hence A should be the answer. Please clear my doubt mam
Mam at 37:38,, jb EWG alkene k sth hai toh uske electrns ko bhi wo apni trf pull kr rhe h jis wjh s wo electrn deficient ho rhi h, gr asa h toh wo metal ko eletron km donate krega jis wjh s bck bonding km hogi,,, is it??
In ques 4, in molecule b thr r 4 CN (E.W.G) groups so e- density of Alkene will be reduced or we can say tht molecule a is better donar thn molecule b so metal carbon bond will be stronger in case of molecule a and so c-c bond length will be higher in a bcz of gud donor ability of a. But as u said tht in back bonding 4 CN group will pull the e crowd much better frm metal thn a bcz of its EW effect, so in tht case c-c bond length will be more in b. Till hr everythg is clear to me but in ques no 7 we are giving more importance to donor ability of phosphine rather than no of EWG present on phosphine. So I'm bit confused btw ques no 4 n 7 tht whn to give importance to donor ability or whn to EWGs.
See there is difference in ligands of ques 4 and 7 in ques no. 4 jaha se donation ho ra hai vahi par back donation ho ra hai, ( Pi of C-C se donation, pi* of C-C mei acceptance) but in 7th que phosphine ligands ki hmm sirf donor ability dekh re hn acceptance tou pi* of CO mei ho ra hai... Tou according to me maybe is liye que 4 mei ewg factor ko importance di whereas in que 7 mei ligand donating factor ko
Haaa.. sawal me metal legand ke stretching frequency ke hisaab se bataa diya.. lekin sawal me CO ke baare me poocha gaya hai.. par ho jata hai human errror... Wow... Mam.. kyaa padhati hai.. sab samjah aa jaata hai❤️❤️ kaaash..itna sikh paau ki koi paper nikaal paau.. otherwise m last ranker of my clsss.kyuki aaj taak kiisi ka padhaya samjh aaya hi nahi..ab mam ke lecture dekhne ke baad chemistry me interest aaaya hai,❤️ thanku
But mam when we are solving question of olefins we say that because of CN groups electrons are easily pulled and thus v(CO) decreases but when are solving question no. 7 we say that because of presence of electron withdrawing group ligand is not able to donate properly or strongly and thus v(CO) is maximum.plz solve the confusion
thanks for this wonderful videos mam....you said that every ligand is sigma donor at first...one doubt is that ethylene molecule is dihapto ligand....but it is not sigma donor??
Ma'am in this video u say all ligands are sigma donar....but ma'am in different medium these ligands shows different donar ability.....some shows pi -donar, pi-acceptor, or sigma donar
Ma'am can we attempt previous year csir net question papers if we have not completed many topics ? as I have to prepare for semester exams also in December
mam in question no 5 you said backbonding is more towards fluorine side but generally where donor ability is more there backbonding is more as in question 7 and there backbonding is less towards fluorine so plz clear it mam
mam by back bonding metal and ligand bond become stronger and also stretching frequency increase..but the stretching frequency of c-o decrease, bcz the legthning in c-o...so i bit confuse when u are saying back bonding increase and stretching frequency decrease....but your leacture is awesome...im confuse in question no. 7..if possible reply mam.
No whatever I've written is right. Answer will be a >b > c> d only Back bonding is greater in B than A ....so C-O bond will be weaker comparatively and hence low stretching frequency
When she teach somekind of positive vibes are created😍
I am so grateful you are my teacher.
Your Positivity and encouragement brightened My days. You made me a better more thoughtful person....

Excellent explanation 😊 thank you so much ❤
Madam ur lecture was superb please upload the video about bioinorganic chemistry that is important for iit jam..
Thanku madam..some part of this vedio is my seminar topic..also iam an MSc.student..mam plz say something about 'experimental evidence for pi bonding in metal carbonyl complexes'

Same doubt
Madam you r solving very easy question these all questions are in Ajay Kumar book.......
Mam ur great👏👏👏...
Mam doubt in qs no 4 and 7. in as 4 CN is EWG .so back bonding more and lengthen c c bond but qs 7 based on donar ability ch3 has more .. also back bonding .in there some doubt explain pls mam
@j chemistry mam iit jam me liye chapterwise questions provide kar dijiye practice ke liye
what will be the point in reading notes unless you understand the concept. This approach is good mam.
Tq so much mam could u pls make lecture on partial molar properties
In question no. 4 more the donar ability more Will b back Bonding ,and metal ligand Bond Will be shorter and c_c bond will be longer hence A should be the answer. Please clear my doubt mam
Mam at 37:38,, jb EWG alkene k sth hai toh uske electrns ko bhi wo apni trf pull kr rhe h jis wjh s wo electrn deficient ho rhi h, gr asa h toh wo metal ko eletron km donate krega jis wjh s bck bonding km hogi,,, is it??
I too have the same doubt
Di, I think the answer of qsn no 4, bond length order will be A>B as bond strength order is A
I also think so
In ques 4, in molecule b thr r 4 CN (E.W.G) groups so e- density of Alkene will be reduced or we can say tht molecule a is better donar thn molecule b so metal carbon bond will be stronger in case of molecule a and so c-c bond length will be higher in a bcz of gud donor ability of a. Tou according to me maybe is liye que 4 mei ewg factor ko importance di whereas in que 7 mei ligand donating factor ko
But We hv asked for CO. ....order shld be reversed (Q7)
Haaa.. sawal me metal legand ke stretching frequency ke hisaab se bataa diya.. lekin sawal me CO ke baare me poocha gaya hai.. par ho jata hai human errror... Wow... Mam.. kyaa padhati hai.. sab samjah aa jaata hai❤️❤️ kaaash..itna sikh paau ki koi paper nikaal paau.. otherwise m last ranker of my clsss.kyuki aaj taak kiisi ka padhaya samjh aaya hi nahi..ab mam ke lecture dekhne ke baad chemistry me interest aaaya hai,❤️ thanku
I'm thinking the same
Please make a video playlist on heterocyclic compounds
Ma'am how to make difference between the -i and +mesomeric effect of OCH3 in GOC please hlp. ☺
Mam 7 question doubt. You said if BB increases the frequency of CO decrease. Then for F5 it should be least
No doubt... U r fab❤️❤️
thanks for this wonderful videos mam....you said that every ligand is sigma donor at first...one doubt is that ethylene molecule is dihapto ligand....but it is not sigma donor??
Mam can you tell me from where can I practice more different questions on metal carbonyls?
Ma'am can you please tell me the isolobal of Os2(CO)8??
Mam jo RUclips me play list bna h kya ho net k lie sufficient h jo v concept h o sab
Mam prblm no. 7 usme tertiary butane h, n butane nhi h. Isliye long chain of butane nhi hogi
Thankyou its really helpful
Thank you so much ma'am.
Love and gratitude from kerala. Thank you so much ma'am for helping us.
Hello mam
June 2011 ka inorganic reaction mechanism ke question aap rank booster me Kara dijiye........ Plz
Hello mam your teach is so nice
Mam aapse ek request hai ke aap isopoly and heteropoly acids per video upload kere
Please mam 🙏🙏
Mam.. explain fluxionality in OMCs
Ma'am ye alkyl> aryl ye order kya sirf PR3 me applicable hai ?
Is there any vedio on metal alkyl complexes??
Which one having more Streching frequency between PCl3 and PF3?
Madam your really great
Awsm explanation mam
Ma'am in this video u say all ligands are sigma donar....but ma'am in different medium these ligands shows different donar ability.....some shows pi -donar, pi-acceptor, or sigma donar
Ma'am can we attempt previous year csir net question papers if we have not completed many topics ? as I have to prepare for semester exams also in December
mam in question no 5 you said backbonding is more towards fluorine side but generally where donor ability is more there backbonding is more as in question 7 and there backbonding is less towards fluorine so plz clear it mam
Maam,in question no.7 , phenyl with fluorine should hv highest frequency right???
great teacher
Thank you ma'am 🙏🙏
Mam synthesis of metal carbonyl is needed?
mam by back bonding metal and ligand bond become stronger and also stretching frequency increase..but the stretching frequency of c-o decrease, bcz the legthning in c-o...so i bit confuse when u are saying back bonding increase and stretching frequency decrease....but your leacture is awesome...im confuse in question no. 7..if possible reply mam.
I am also facing the same difficulty
Thank you sooo much madam ...
Ma'am you gave two examples for finding Freq (CO) . One having EWG, one with EDG. how come both have the same effect of increasing the back bonding??
Yes bro I have in case of Pt example and after that 3flurione example
Maja avi gyi.... Thanks
Everything is good but some options of questions were not clearly visible
Senrgic bonding kya hoti h mam
Thanks a lot for the reference books mam....
Hi Jyoti!! for last but one question I got different answer( b>a>c>d) can please clarify
Regards
Yes..b>a>c>d this is correct...plse clrify..
Can you tell me the ques no ?
6 que. H mam
No whatever I've written is right.
Answer will be a >b > c> d only
Back bonding is greater in B than A ....so C-O bond will be weaker comparatively and hence low stretching frequency
Mam plz make the vedios on coordination chemistry....
