- Thanamir Village also known as Apple Village is located at the foothills of Mt. Saramati. The climatic condition of the village is favourable for horticultural farming, especially an apple.
The best time to experience apple harvesting is in August - September
Feel free to visit Thanamir Village to purchase apples in bulk or in small quantities, or simply to explore the farms and village.
How to Reach Thanamir Village:
You can find passenger taxis or choppers from Dimapur to Pungro Town, Kiphire District, Nagaland.
From Pungro to Thanamir Village you'll again find a passenger taxi or rent a vehicle it’ll take almost 2 and a half hours to reach the village.
Where to Stay: You can find Eco Tourism Guest House which costs 200 rs per night or other guest houses like NBCC Guest house etc
