So, why not hire, or pay Ukrainian soldiers. It is a good job, when things are peaceful. It pays, $60,000 a year.

Is the invasion, occupation and annexation of the tiny parts of 5 Ukraine oblasts of Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporitzia, Kherson and Crimea worth losing ALL of Russia for? Peopie in the Nigerian delta are unhappy that while the country makes a lot of money off the oil in the Delta region the local people mainly just get environmental damage from oil production. There has been a history of resentment in Alberta based on a perception that too much of the money being made off of Alberta oil is going to the Canadian federal government and the rest of Canada even though Alberta has an average income higher than the national average. So it would make sense that people in Eastern Russia would be resentful about Western Russian cities prospering (by Russian standards) off of the oil and other resources produced in Eastern Russia while people in Eastern Russia remain poor. This resentment would presumably be intensified due to the Kremlin deciding to take a much higher percentage of men from Eastern Russia to fight and die in Ukraine in comparison to the numbers of men taken from Western Russian cities. All this on top of the fact that a significant proportion of the people in Eastern Russia are not ethnically Russian and come from groups whose land was invaded and occupied by Russian imperialists. Though the title of this video is strange and has little connection to the video content.

Russia (Putin and Kremlin) needs to decide what is more important to Russia.
Is the invasion, occupation and annexation of the tiny parts of 5 Ukraine oblasts of Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporitzia, Kherson and Crimea worth losing ALL of Russia for?
If Russia continues on the current course their Geopolitical status will be extinguished, their military standing completely destroyed and their economy setback 50 years to the point of bankruptcy, from the sanctions most of the world have applied.
And that's before you consider the internal strife, attempted coups and disappearance of high ranking generals, China's distancing and Ukraine's own SMO into Russia's Kursk Oblast.

The professor's suggestions are far too reasonable for Western politicians to adopt.
