Since Biden is now sending supplies / weapons on a WEEKLY basis, it would be hard to say how many ATACMS are in each delivery. It would be therefore be fair to assume that it won't just be 50 ATACMS Ukraine will receive, since Biden has decided to send / RUSH as much artillery/ bombs ATACMS he can in the time he has remaining in office

      russia thinks territory is winning.
Ukraine thinks keeping it's people alive is.

True, but if Putin is prepared to use nukes then he was always prepared to use nukes. We can’t be cowed by that possibility. A lot of nukes would be heading his way within a few seconds. We don’t even know if Russia still has a credible nuclear arsenal - America recently spent 50 billion on 500 nukes to keep them working, Russias entire spend is 60 billion. As we have seen recently, the supposed modern Russian weapons systems have failed to materialise in any great numbers which suggests a lot of corruption in the military budget spend, most of his nukes may well be duds, but Americas are all fully ready to fly.

For this particular conflict, they have already been warned not to do it by China and India, which are the only two countries really buying any oil or gas from them.secondly, they have been warned by NATO that the consequences will be massive if they use a nuclear weapon. So if they want to be immediately destroyed and bankrupt, just try it.

The POTUS and GOP may dabble in other policies to pass the time of this term, but nothing too fancy, as that's not for them to decide, and neither has it been for the administration before.
If the past is anything to go by, Trump will tweet a lot and then go AFK to be golfing at his resort, as he's done his job already, which is simply to keep you idiots separated, and you've eaten it up still wanting for more. There is no more.

It used to be were most of the compromising and governing for the long term came from, until relatively recently.
That said, there are a fair few senators from before maga arrived that just got re-elected and are likely to retire in 4-6 years. They don't have any reason to fall in line with the crazies as it stands, so there's still hope that some of the worst policies get blunted. Extra Ukraine aid would likely need to go through either chump or the House though.

      Wow.
      Thank you ever so much.
To me, that is ever such a complicated way of doing things….
In the Uk, things seem a lot simpler.
The law makers are ultimately the House of Commons (elected), checked by The Lords to make sure it is in the best interests of the people and finally signed off by the Monarch to pass into law.
The only elections are for the Commons……that’s it.
The Lords are either hereditary or appointed by ministers and that is for life and the Monarchy is as you would expect.1,000 years and counting.
Very stable. Each level is accountable and could theoretically be removed by two of the others.
      Won’t happen.
      So jumping back
As I now understand a bit more I shall be able to watch things unfold more informed.
Thank you for taking the time to explain this.
      Laurence.

Kursk has been a "morale" booster for the Ukrainian population and the troops.
How would history have been changed if the Wehrmacht had been bogged down after 2 years in Poland?
What if the Wehrmacht had invaded Poland and not brought enough fuel or food to reach Warsaw?
What if the Luftwaffe was not able have air dominance after 2 years in Poland?
Why are all of the armchair generals ignoring the incompetence of the invader?
This war should have been over in 3 weeks, or 3 months at most.
Now north Koreans are supposedly on the battlefield.
Will Iranians or Chinese be next?
Should the Russians kept nibbling at Ukraine with their "little green" men?

@daydays12 it just pops up on my feed. 2 minutes in I tap out and wonder if anyone can listen to the end, I assume they can't. Or maybe it's like cheering a football team and you just go along with the nonsense.
