could be, i've never ridden the CBR650R. I did have a first Gen 250 Rebel but that was long time ago so hard to compare. But i do like wide handle bars, they help steering and counter steering as well..
Yes, it wasn't really planned. I just dropped off my bike at the dealership for service and then the dealer offered me the test ride, to cover the waiting time. I went on a road section that i knew well, including some high speed straights and some twisties. I started to enjoy the bike a lot, so I thought I just make a standing review. For the above mentioned reason I also didn't have my gopro on me either. And yes if you new to riding, it's definitely a great choice. Has some style and enough performance.
For a learner bike, the dash does not have gear position indicator which is a huge miss. I agree that it needs a tail tidy. Probably the best looking out of three competitors. Good job on the video
People have been riding motorcycles for decades without an indicator. New riders shouldn't even be using one anyways and learn to feel and hear the engine instead. It's a crutch.

This bike would definitely be better if it had a DCT automatic transmission option and also make it a true 300cc engine instead of the 286cc it comes with.
Dct would make it at least 600eur more expensive and 15kg heavier. I dont think this is a good tec for thid class of machines. The engine size is irrelevant, hp and feel and rideability is the way to go.
I think the handle bars could be narrower for filtering through traffic.
They are wider than a CB650R, and a Honda Rebel.

Well you didn’t lie that was indeed a very short ride lol.
Great bike by the way I really think it’s the one I’m gonna go with

Hey Mate Great Video and review. Greetings from South Australia. The bike really looks the part. Just gave you a sub Mate.
I hope those aren't cracks in the tire.
I am really taken with the CB300r. It appears to be the Grom I would have wanted.

I guess aftermarket tail tidy will be available soon. The CB1000R do come with a euro style rear mud guard.

@@laz1go286 semmilyennel per pillanat. Most akarom csinálni az A2es jogsit, aztán valószínűleg egy ilyen lesz

I think the rear tyre is of 150 mm width

its a 150 in the back, and it's a 286cc....get your facts in line before you flog
