I have read through the messages and discussions in response to this video. As an ex-Zimbabwean I am going to say to all of you. You have one chance to fix the trajectory of South Africa before it becomes Zimbabwe. This is the 2024 elections. I have gone through the list of political parties and the only one that can make SA better is the DA. If you do not make that change now. The next 5 years to the 2029 elections will be the biggest heist of human existence. If the EFF come into power the state will run and own everything. If you think cadre deployment is a problem now. EFF will take it to a whole new level. This is from someone who has lived through it.
The parallels between Zim and SA are scary and far from an exaggeration or scare tactic. Zim has turned into a living nightmare, and now SA seems to be following suit by adopting similar practices. To put things into perspective, significant portion of Zim's population, over a quarter, has left the country in the past 25-30 years. Moreover, more than a quarter of the remaining population relies on food aid. This is especially concerning for a country with farms that were intentionally destroyed and redistributed to the elite. While Ian Smith, the previous leader, owned only one farm, Robert Gabriel Mugabe controlled 21 farms. The corruption in Zim runs deep, and it began immediately after they gained independence in 1980. The following is a condensed list of some key events that have contributed to the country's decline, although it is by no means exhaustive: 1. Electoral Manipulation: ZANU PF, the ruling party, has never won a fair election. Even in 1980, the election was essentially handed to them by Margaret Thatcher who declared that the party that governs the nation is not necessarily the one that wins the election. Election rigging has become a trademark of the party, and the ANC will have learned about these tactics. 2. Scandalous Commissions: In the 1980s, scandals such as the Sandura and Willowvale Commissions set the stage for economic devastation and pervasive political favouritism. Unfortunately, some of the individuals involved in these scandals still hold notable positions in the government today, that’s what patronage does. 3. Mugabe's Matabeleland Genocide: During the 1980s, Mugabe orchestrated a genocide in Matabeleland, targeting the Ndebele people. This act of brutality was followed by further oppression of various groups, including white individuals, opposition members, and potentially even intra-tribal conflicts. There are indicators that this systematic eradication plan has extended to encompass South Africa and Botswana. Zimbabweans, supposedly selected for their education, have been given prominent positions in SA companies, but they often favour their own people, the Shona, due to animosity towards white people or South Africans of Nguni extraction because of their connection and kinship with the people of Matabeleland and their history. Botswana has recognised and addressed this issue, but South Africans have yet to face the reality. 4. Economic Structural Adjustment Programme (ESAP): While ESAP aimed to liberalise the economy, it ultimately failed to work in Zimbabwe's unique socioeconomic context. Instead, it further entrenched the existing issues, aggravated unemployment, and widened the gap between the rich and the poor. 5. Ongoing Farm Invasions: Since 1997, ongoing farm invasions have been politically expedient for Mugabe and ZANU PF, diverting attention from their failures. As mentioned earlier, Mugabe took advantage of these invasions to consolidate power, contrary to Joshua Nkomo's demand for immediate land reform as a prerequisite for his support. This power grab, combined with around Z$3 billion in unfunded liabilities to appease war veterans, initiated the dismantling of an already strained economy. This marked the beginning of the erosion of law and order, along with an unprecedented depreciation of the Zimbabwean dollar. 6. Movement for Democratic Change (MDC): Although Gordon Sibanda originally founded the MDC, it is commonly misattributed to Morgan Tsvangirai, who emerged as the face of the labour movement. The MDC was infiltrated by ZANU PF and inevitably faced failure due to the pervasive belief in Zimbabwe that only a Shona, specifically a Zezuru, can lead the country. The current leader, Mnangagwa, is not Zezuru, which has created its own set of challenges. ZANU PF has lost sight of its original liberation objectives and is now solely focused on self-preservation at any cost, using sanctions as a convenient scapegoat. 7. Congo War: Zimbabwe's involvement in the Congo War came at a tremendous cost of over USD1 million per day. Unfortunately, the country has nothing substantial to show for this expenditure. The war not only broke fiscal and monetary rules but also contributed to the devastating inflation that further crippled Zimbabwe. The beneficiaries of this war, including Mnangagwa and others, reportedly accumulated substantial wealth, with Mnangagwa rumored to be worth about $250 million USD. 8. The Infamous Marange Diamonds: The Marange diamond fields were looted of approximately $15 billion USD. Astonishingly, the country's leaders shamelessly approached international lending institutions, asking for $10 billion USD to restore the economy. 10. The "Gold Mafia": There are videos available on RUclips that shed light on the practices of the Gold Mafia. It’s not one thing that broke Zim but a series of policy failures, choices, partisan and politically expedient decisions that were for the benefit of the party. We’ve seen it before in Zim and SA has a chance to change the trajectory.
It will be hell to chsnge the country even with the GNU in place. Caders will keep on stealing and miss appropriate funds if those we already know of does not end up in jail.

Thank you Leon Schreiber. One aspect of cadre deployment that you did not touch on (although I am sure you are no doubt aware of it) that many if not all of these positions were in fact 'up for auction' within the ANC, and that once in these positions the cadres were expected to make monthly contributions to the ANC. I was told this by an erstwhile ANC member who was offered a senior government position on that basis during the Mbeki regime. He left the ANC shortly afterwards and became a senior member in another party. The 1344 page document is in the public domain now and that is an excellent starting point, but sadly it is only part of the picture. There can be no doubt that the ANC are still withholding a great deal of information. The next step will be to tie up deployments with party funding, and then link this to specific decisions that were made at senior levels to enable and facilitate state capture. Such a lot of work still to do. Please continue with your excellent work, and I will make sure that on the 29th of May the DA will be at least one vote closer to being able to take control of the government.
How many of those born round about the time of democracy are actually tribalists. Government has purchased tribal leaders votes with double cab bakkies & a monthly stipends.
Good people were really hijacked by ANC. This is the reason why our beloved rich country is now today. Let us truly truly truly thank God for sending DA to rescue SOUTH AFRICA 🇿🇦. MY heart ❤️ is bleeding . I am dumb. Thank you MINISTER . God bless you 🙏.
Yes!! Many, many of SAs do care! But we didn't know what to do to overcome this or stop it. Now, the people MUST vote against this, this now is where we can stop it, our contribution to deal with what the DA can do!!!!
Do what the rest of the world does have marches to show government how you feel do it often enough and make sure the media is alerted so it gets overseas coverage as well.
The ANC should learn from the "BRODERBOND". They perfected cadre deployment. They created Iscor, Sasol, Sanlam, Volkskas bank, Trust bank,Boland Bank, and also created 5 agricultural colleges. Ran SOE's successfully.
I also experience the same pattern in the mining area. There are people in key positions that have privvy to all the info about mines and mining permits. One person boldly told me: "Do you know who I am? I am a clever person, you will not talk to me like that(after asking an innocent question)"
This is reason why the caders appoints consulting teams who milks the system even further - the consultants are also in one way or the other a friend or cader
I see ABSA came up in the discussion as being complicit In employing cadres. The truth is many of the big corporations in SA have willingly gone along with this abominable practice. Hopefully they too will be brought to book. The rot truly does run deep in the private sector as well.
Yep of course say it louder. They think we don't know their scandals from big companies, let them be exposed. But the time is coming, everything that is hidden will be on the table the world to know. They're busy seeing twigs on anc eyes yet they've got logs on their eyes. We're waiting for the ryt time to see what's behind the logs and the world will know on that day.
Please follow the link between cadre deployment and corruption. It is no accident that the cadres are also those who are corrupt. What % of their ill gained funds goes directly into the ANC coffers ?
Thank you Dr. Leon Schreiber. It's disgusting how long it took to get here. Are the ANC truly interested in the welfare of South Africa and South Africans? How much did it cost the Tax payer to defend the ANC?? Not all Tax payers are supporters. I can guarantee you on your list you will find a Hanekom, Mabuza? I want to know about Ithuba lottery and the Queen Bee as the "insect" is called. NS The DA is very suitable and capable to rid cadres in their hordes, hopefully after this election already. A good track-record speaks volumes. Good Luck.
Just shows how clueless ANC voters are... They would rather destroy the country then to vote for competent people to better their lives... Blows my mind! Make me understand please.
Uneducated. Exactly what Ramaphosa wants so he can tell them nonsense to get their vote... control freak, typically communists. Control. Telling them the ANC gives the grants, not the tax payer.
I remember back around 2004, I got in contact with people that was actively busy with "list-making".I didn't realised it then, but in time when all the cadre deployment came to light, I remembered that they were all trying to get in line to get their names on the list. Many were jobless people
Thank you Leon and Alec. Awesome analysis and exposure, should now take action with all the warriors that are worthy of the top positions so that you can turn it around asap !!!!
True ? ANC destroyed my career in the Maritime Sector. Right now the Sector is dead as far as DOT and SAMSA are concerned. Unqualified Cadres are in control.
Very true. My neighbor back home in Mpumalanga moved from being a high school teacher to a very senior position in the Gert Sibande Municipality. Visit the area to witness the state of roads. ANC has f*k ass South Africans, 30 years and many areas of Mpumalanga are without basic infrastructure. 25years plus of controlling budgets and nothing to show.

This is great work by the DA. Now my question is what is the DA going to do to get their voter count of 20% up. The EFF is looking dangerously close to becoming the official opposition as well.
MK is eating EFF votes so it doesn't look like they will be the official opposition at the moment. However , elections are some months away and much can change between now and then.
@sharonadams9721 The EFF of course, by the DA. The EFF said to their supporters that if they EVER lied, to not vote for them ever again. They promised a school years ago. Where is it?
SA certainly does care but feels rather helpless and hopeless in the face of all this criminality and evil. Thank you for your great efforts to bring justice!
Unfortunately the uneducated voters who are going to vote anc again will make it impossible for change...if only voters will make a unemotional vote ..then alone our land has a future.ĺĺ
Those voters don't have internet and are uninformed of what's happening they need to be educated and have access to the truth of what's happening when they will vote differently. GOD SAVE SA and educate these people they being deceived.
Let’s not forget that this goes beyond just public sector, it goes into private sector, where ANC calls CEO and requests certain cadre on their Boards…Including girlfriends of ANC cadre being put forward as candidates for Executive directors -
To reverse the cadre deployment just give the so called jobs new names and description and let the incumbent and others apply on a merit based employment method
The problem is that the I.E.C. is also captured! They should have been conducting workshops throughout the country, explaining to the voters that they should be judging politicians by their track record of competence, or voting along issues based lines, and NOT on blind loyalty to any political party or on race or tribal lines! This practice should have started at the dawn of democracy, almost thirty years ago. The fact that they did not do this clearly shows that they are a concomitent part of the ANC machine to maintain a de facto one - party state! Finally, as one of the greatest political theorests explained : "Sooner or later the government gets the people they deserve, and the people get the government they deserve." 😢
The Maritime Sector is dead because of the same Cadre deployment. I had to resign because I was witnessing being surrounded by these cadres who would not hesitate to discuss senior managers with Ministers damaging their names.

The corruption in Zim runs deep, and it began immediately after they gained independence in 1980.
The following is a condensed list of some key events that have contributed to the country's decline, although it is by no means exhaustive:

@@MargaretPoyser-w8g
Which media are you implying cos ours is working for the imperialist s not the country. So your plan won't work
What are the chances a judge hearing the case is not a deployed Cadre?
The ANC should learn from the "BRODERBOND". They perfected cadre deployment. They created Iscor, Sasol, Sanlam, Volkskas bank, Trust bank,Boland Bank, and also created 5 agricultural colleges. Ran SOE's successfully.
To reverse the cader deployment performance based assessments and clean out at a masive scale the only way
All these cadres must be investigated, and all their assets attached
I also experience the same pattern in the mining area. There are people in key positions that have privvy to all the info about mines and mining permits. One person boldly told me: "Do you know who I am? I am a clever person, you will not talk to me like that(after asking an innocent question)"
This is reason why the caders appoints consulting teams who milks the system even further - the consultants are also in one way or the other a friend or cader
Stunning interview guys let's hope the people in this country can start voting for a better place
Brilliantly presented 🇦🇺
May YHVH have mercy on S.A. and all her people. This is all shockingly evil. Cry beloved country.
We definitely care and will back every step taken to bring these cadres to book to reap in their lives the devastation they have sown.
Thank God for people like this!
Thank you Leon & Democratic Alliance
With the EPWP analysis he was spot on. Only anc members are employed in return they have to do the door to door campain for the anc
So true experienced it on contracts in soweto
I see ABSA came up in the discussion as being complicit In employing cadres. The truth is many of the big corporations in SA have willingly gone along with this abominable practice. Hopefully they too will be brought to book. The rot truly does run deep in the private sector as well.
ABSA and Standerd bank!
@@1986auroracyril is involved in STD bank
Yep of course say it louder. They think we don't know their scandals from big companies, let them be exposed. But the time is coming, everything that is hidden will be on the table the world to know. They're busy seeing twigs on anc eyes yet they've got logs on their eyes. We're waiting for the ryt time to see what's behind the logs and the world will know on that day.
Please follow the link between cadre deployment and corruption. It is no accident that the cadres are also those who are corrupt. What % of their ill gained funds goes directly into the ANC coffers ?
Just think CT gang structure on a bigger scale = ANC cadre deployment
THE D.A WILL LEAVE NO STONES UNTURNED THATS VERY GOOD
The ministers have concubines that they appoint to public office. MEC's and the like.
The ANC switched from violent terrorism to economic terrorism.
Political class looks after itself first!
Good Luck.
Weldone !!
All of South Africa needs to hear this programme. Thankyou biznews and Dr Schreiber.
Thank you Biz News
Since Ramaphosa was second in command, we went backwards, no wonder he is keeping Zuma out of jail. Ramaphosa should be in an orange overall. Fast.
Keep up the good work, Mr Schreiber. You will make a good president one day. Your degrees and integrity can not be scoffed at 😊
This guy is far better than John Steenhuisen. He should leed the DA.
THAT IS THE TRUTH. THEY GOT NO EXPERIENCE OR SKILLS BUT WERE HANDED POSITIONS ONLY TO LOOT..
Just shows how clueless ANC voters are... They would rather destroy the country then to vote for competent people to better their lives... Blows my mind! Make me understand please.
I been trying to understand please give me the answer when you find it!
Uneducated. Exactly what Ramaphosa wants so he can tell them nonsense to get their vote... control freak, typically communists. Control. Telling them the ANC gives the grants, not the tax payer.
Tribalism. They vote for colour not for competence.
They don't trust the white man not yet.
Tribalism Wil bring sa nowhere@@SueLeo1
I remember back around 2004, I got in contact with people that was actively busy with "list-making".I didn't realised it then, but in time when all the cadre deployment came to light, I remembered that they were all trying to get in line to get their names on the list. Many were jobless people
Incredible that the ANC has gotten away with this for 3 decades
Most of the electorate does not care. As long as they receive social grants.
Thank you Leon and Alec. Awesome analysis and exposure, should now take action with all the warriors that are worthy of the top positions so that you can turn it around asap !!!!
Expose the deamons!!!
True ? ANC destroyed my career in the Maritime Sector. Right now the Sector is dead as far as DOT and SAMSA are concerned. Unqualified Cadres are in control.
All I’d like to know is why has it taken 30 years of catastrophic failure to finally get this into court ??
The pattern was set, now new workers expect to get jobs as well
Only a small sector of the population cares. The ones who benefit dont care, the ones who dont know, dont care.
You cannot not care about something you don’t know about.
Those people are just low iq ignorant people..
ANC must go! Can't wait to vote
Trevor Manual was a draughtsman at Murray + Roberts at M+R house on the foreshore in the 70s .
Radical Economic Transformation for the connected and not the rest
Ek hou baie van DA Leon and John. I ❤ DA... ANC is corruptions and tratiors. Voetsek anc. Please please anc must now now now go go go go go go go voetsek voetsek voetsek anc
Face it. These people can't govern.
EXCELLENT ❤️
This is great work by the DA. Now my question is what is the DA going to do to get their voter count of 20% up. The EFF is looking dangerously close to becoming the official opposition as well.
Just ask them where's the school?😮
@@psylentrage Meaning?
MK is eating EFF votes so it doesn't look like they will be the official opposition at the moment.
However , elections are some months away and much can change between now and then.
@sharonadams9721 The EFF of course, by the DA. The EFF said to their supporters that if they EVER lied, to not vote for them ever again. They promised a school years ago. Where is it?
EFF is already being crushed by MK
SA certainly does care but feels rather helpless and hopeless in the face of all this criminality and evil.
Thank you for your great efforts to bring justice!
all evil exists, because of the love of money
These 100s of thousands of cadres are now IN POWER...how will we get rid of them. I BELIEVE IT IS NOT POSSIBLE.🤷🏼♂️
Unfortunately the uneducated voters who are going to vote anc again will make it impossible for change...if only voters will make a unemotional vote ..then alone our land has a future.ĺĺ
Only taxpayers should vote. The rest should stay home and wait for the results.
Those voters don't have internet and are uninformed of what's happening they need to be educated and have access to the truth of what's happening when they will vote differently. GOD SAVE SA and educate these people they being deceived.
Thanks!
A pleasure - thank you for helping to keep us sustainable
Business unity sA should explore how the private sector was captured by anc as we move to eradicate state capture
South africa is gone. We are living in a jungle .
The Maritime Sector is dead because of the same Cadre deployment. I had to resign because I was witnessing being surrounded by these cadres who would not hesitate to discuss senior managers with Ministers damaging their names.
Too much power corrupts. That goes for ALL political parties.
This is an amazing revelation and confirmation that we understood was going on.
I like Dr Leon Schreiber he called a spade a spade no maybe straight talk ⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕
Thank you for substantive proof for our suspicions.
What you really need is an export of that ANC cadre deployment Whatsapp group. Now that would stir things up
Impossible... Probably not admissible to the court if it was stolen or leaked.
Keep it up💪
A very important and informative. Thanks
I think we all KNOW this???
Will this list of cadres be made public?
A future DA leader. Schreiber is so astute.
The root cause comes from anc to have any form of morals, scruples or principles. It is just NOT in their culture to possess such refined abilities.
30 years ago all of you WANTED this Anc.....😢
No.. we wanted to get rid of Apartheid. It was VERY Badly managed.
