  • Welcome to my new video! Today we'll talk about the crucial role of the embouchure muscles when playing the trumpet and why it's important to train these muscles specifically.
The attachment muscles include the muscles around the mouth, including the lips, cheeks, and jaw muscles. These muscles are crucial for sound production and directly influence sound quality, endurance, flexibility, precision and avoidance of injury when playing the trumpet.
In this video I explain the following reasons why training the base muscles is so important:
Sound quality: Well-trained embouchure muscles support a full, clear tone.
Endurance: Muscles must have endurance to handle longer gaming sessions.
Flexibility: Flexible muscles enable different playing techniques.
Precision: Control of lip position is important for precise playing.
Avoiding injuries: Targeted training reduces the risk of injuries such as lip infections.
In addition to core muscles, general physical strength is also important to support an upright posture and improve endurance.
Stay tuned for practical tips and exercises to train your embouchure muscles and improve your trumpet playing!
I hope I was able to help you with my thoughts as well as exercises, tips and tricks on this important trumpet topic/video. Here's to good cooperation and always remember: sticking with it is the motto!
See you soon and Ciao!!! Your Nico

Ab Sek. 35 fing der Bleistift ein wenig zu zittern an. Aber dann ging es. Eine tolle Übung 👍Am Schluss mache ich gerne "Lippenflattern"
