The bassist could be lost at sea for 20 years and still know what time it is
Rumor has it he can smell what the rock is cooking but it's not been confirmed it's just conjecture at the moment,I believe it though
more than ever :-)
That saxophonist who when not playing is just vibing with a beer in one hand and his saxophone in the other. I connect with him on a deep spiritual level.
and those shorts!
he even puts his beer into the sax at the beginning!
@@DarrenJames67 they're pretty short
I'm pretty sure those are boxer briefs? And he has the front of his shirt tucked into them lmao.
@@hangingchad_ Absolute legend
That bassist is a machine.
bad ass
He holds it down. The band is like 90% him and the drummer.
That bass looks huge on him. Is he a dwarf?
@@standinsilence yes he's very short
@@teddyQuake Maybe him and Kylie Minogue could make a cute couple. She is also very short. Only 152 cm according to IMDB.
13:14 "This next song is about smuggling a frog into a secret meeting, by way of hiding it within one's trench coat. Due to the fact that frogs tend to not show up on any sort of sonar or radar, or any other type of spy surveilance where they could show up. So thats what this next song is about. I hope you guys can relate."
the way he says hope you guys can relate hahahaha
Can you ? Lol
I've totally been there, man.
I don't have words for this band.
I just love them
I mean they've got a pretty small cross section so makes sense they wouldn't show up.
As a biology teacher, I need to remember to tell my students that frogs don't show up on sonar or any other type of spy surveillance
Thats what the government wants you to think
Sick dude...

Like Tom Waits on even more drugs
And the perfect body too ;D

The sax player is a stupendous little shrimp called Isak Hedtjärn! He's a meme connoisseur (jazzisak) and a crazy free jazz artist. I saw him live once, and my testicles fell off
4 minutes into an over hour long set, and my dude is rolling on the floor coughing with his shirt off. A divine collision of raw artistry, and the epitome of endurance.
That's the perfect pair with my comment..
Endurance chemicals 2 days at least 😎😎😎😎🙄🤗
Something tells me the singer isn't the epitome of health. Hope he doesn't end up dead from lifestyle choices. He's an amazing talent, like the rest of the band
He just visited his mom in Portland. Don't worry, if he dies she'll kill him.
Kinda like iggy pop
2:41 The bassist is on another galaxy, yet he's perfectly on time.
Just doing his backbone job of keeping it together nothing flash just solid playing
It's all the research chemicals he's taking!

Pure gold
50:33 "Who's got a joint? C'mon, we just sang a song about smokin dope, I need some dope, on the stage."
thats not a joint
That’s a man

HAHAHAHAHA
Shrimp Shack is my favorite song, and in a cliche way, my life anthem. "I'm fucking surfing. Don't give a shit about anything. I'm in the dirt"
Then he says "I'm that guy, surfing by." Sebastian, you're like some sort of front man we aint never seen my dude.
Man....the guts on these guys...it's like looking at the sun
Saw them at Brixton warming up for sleaford mods, fuck me gently did they warm up, they practically burnt the fuck out of me.
Was totally blown away.
Haven't stopped playing them since.
Someone once said they are a band of teachers with their speed dealer, that sums them up.
It's about time god awful rock n roll like this is now coming through, gives me hope for my own god awful shite.
I'm 67 and don't know how I missed these guys.Going to their Boston show in Feb.I bought Tix the minute I found out they are coming and I can't wait. They bring to mind early Devo if they came from Texas mixed with the Butthole Surfers, joined by Ornette Coleman who brought the acid and a small dose of Captain Beefheart for good measure.Just my cup of tea!
You're awesome! Thank you for sharing that little story!
The fall- blindness is another example of influence on the bass player, very similar style of heavy bass ❤️

This is the kind of attitude I've missed in most modern rock frontmen. Sebastian gives me Animal of ANWL vibes
Possibly the greatest performance in rock n roll history. A band on fire. Beyond belief. The greatest bass player on earth.
Just came across these guys, love it when you get into a band and they grip you straight away, that's me sorted for the next month 🤣🤣
Same. Totally random find. Never heard of the band and they've got me hooked from that very first song. The stage presence is next fucking level.

It's a great life sign :) let's carry on :)
Stuck in my brain forever.
09-01-2022 4:31 A.M. is when my small life found this large beautiful voice and his bandmates. Never heard of these dudes and now my heavy metal loving self has started a new playlist. What is in the water in that beautiful Scandinavian region? Holy shit I love this sound!
Wow, Research Chemicals for ten minutes? Nice.
Pure musiciens. The front man is amazing, ramble, he don't give a shit, just great, it's perfect for this kind of music. I think we all needed this boys, this kind of music, in a world where the good music it's almost gone...
Agreed!
I agree these dudes are awesome, but I'd say there is a ton of good music out there nowadays, especially given the fact that its much easier to discover it. Some bands and musicians you should check out that I personally think are great are King Gizzard, Amyl and the Sniffers, Ty Segall (all of his bands), Osees, Squid, black midi, LA Witch, La Luz, Fontaines DC and thats just a quick off the top list. There's great music out there you just gotta find it, just like these dudes
@@evansevieri9715 yup tons of great music, just won’t be fed to you. We have pretty similar taste. Some groups I would mention are acid dad, fuzz (one of Ty’s bands), Kikagaku Moyo, pipe-eye, traffik island, ORB, the coneheads, King Khan & BBQ. Scope out a channel called tremendo garaje for some bangers also.
I entirely agree :)

Holy shit was this one fucking awesome concert!! I had been listening to Amyl and the Sniffers and saw a video by these guys with Amy Taylor, which has nothing to do with this musicwise, so I decided to see what they were about. Damn this is the shit! No wonder Amy did the song with them. I started watching and was hooked immediately till the last bongo beat! Have never heard a saxophone so seamlessly integrated into such hypnotic sonic bliss! Reminds me of early Can. Especially with that bass playing. Incredible band! Hat's off to you gentlemen.
