Really useful as a there isn’t a lot of B&B content at the moment.
Unfortunately yes. I'm probably the only one in germany playing this game but I'm trying my best to convince others from playing it, too!
Great video, I'll work my way through them all. Gonna try this game soon
Researching while I open my Great and Small Kickstarter.
Great work on both counts.
Hey guys Doomsayer here from Twitter, great video. Love your stuff keep up the great work 😊
Thanks for starting this. Subbed.
As clear and elegant a presentation as the beard cut.
Very nice, all the best Garry
Such a great game, and the nicest team behind it. Excited to get some new minis in March!
Insta-sub! (It’s Sam S from Kickstarter ❤️).
Looking forward to more videos! 😁
Great explanation and introduction to Buttows & Badgers. Thanks for taking the time to put this together. I’m very interested in the dice based stat line.
Wonderful. It's really good that you've started this.
Love that you've started to make videos like this :)
Great video. Nice and clear. Looking forward to more
Love this so much! I hope the series continues!
Good video looking forward to the next one
very cool and helpful! hope you make more soon!!
Great video this is a fantastic idea.
Great to have some official content out there to add to the other fan made stuff. Keen to see some of Jo's terrain in demos please :)
Great Video. I’ve got my copy of the rules in the mail. This game looks like quite an achievement. Can’t wait to sink my teeth into it!
what an incredibly charming game
Great video. Keep it coming! I’ll comment more on fb group.
This might be the game I've been looking for.
More videos please!
Look forward to painting my adventure band and playing the game
I'm getting Mordheim nostalgia...with more fur
This is great love the game but please do more then one video a month need to grow this channel so keep the video's coming.
Good explanation! I hope the next videos are cut a little bit smaller. Somehow I love the format "Warhammer TV" presents the rules in very small videos (up to 5 minutes) that explain small parts of the game, such as movement, melee or ranged attacks. Otherwise you could just add an index with "jumps marks" to the correct position in the video, as you see it often in concert videos.
Yeah, this one's a bit long - the rest will be much shorter, as we'll tackle the rules bit by bit.
I'll have a look at adding an index with link points to this one though - that's a good idea! :)
Great Video, will you be making more as i saw you referenced a future one?
We've got lots more planned, and will (hopefully!) get started on them this month...
Wish you kept this going :(
Looks really interesting. Any sign of part 2?
Sorry for the delayed reply - the answer is, not yet! We were supposed to do it in March, but we've been incredibly busy... we'll get more done as soon as possible! :)
can anyone help? i notice that all raptors have a block of a d6 except the large raptor which has a block of d4. is this a mistake or is it correct? even the medium rapture has a block of d6 so i assume the large raptor should also have a block of d6
Yes, it's an editing error - it should be d6.
While we're on the subject, Marmots have a Block Stat of d5, but it should be d4.
and Tortoises have a Move Stat of d6, but it should be d4.
Incidentally, you can find the FAQ pdf in the B&B Facebook Group (well worth joining, if you use FB):
facebook.com/groups/burrowsandbadgers/permalink/2099666110304163
or in the 'Downloads' bit of the B&B website:
burrowsandbadgers.com/
Hope that helps!
Michael
@@burrows_and_badgers thanks for getting back to me Michael. Unfortunately I'm not on Facebook. I'm really looking forward to playing this, my friend got me the rules for Christmas and I spent all last night working out my warband lol.
Can I ask do you know where I can get terrain? I have a couple of really talented friends who are making some but I'm less capable and will need to purchase terrain and battle mats. So any advice would be appreciated.
@@DavidLee-xr3kb For gaming mats, I've only used Deep-Cut Studio Game Mats, which are really good. But there's actually loads of choice these days, and you can pick up good mats from all over the place now.
For terrain, Sarissa Precision do some mdf kits for Burrows & Badgers:
sarissa-precision.com/collections/burrows-and-badgers
But again, there's loads of choice these days, from paper/card kits, right up to pre-painted resin stuff. If you google 'wargames terrain', you'll be looking at stuff for days! :)
@@burrows_and_badgers much appreciated. I'm having my first outing on Wednesday and I'm really looking forward to it. Thanks for all your help 👍🏻
I was ready to play and love this game. I bought the rules. Then the writer gave me a ration of shit in the FB group for not buying the official miniatures. Like I can empty my wallet buying metal minis to be shipped from the UK to the US or can buy and print suitable STL files. It's like I was being shamed for not being brand loyal. It was really disappointing. I will not be recommending this to any of the gamers in my social circle.
Well, I'll leave this comment up, as I'm not a big fan of censorship... but I guess we'll have to disagree about you being given 'a ration of shit'.
Here's a pic of the discussion, for anyone who's interested:

That all seems pretty mild to me, but it clearly got you worked up enough to quit the FB Group, then come looking for my videos to add a snarky comment.
Once again - we're a small (tiny!) company, and the only reason we can take the time to do things like run the FB Group, and make these videos, is because people support the game by buying our minis. It's nothing to do with 'brand loyalty', it's a commercial reality. So, if people want a game that's continually supported, then people need to support the game...
@@burrows_and_badgers
Hmmm, wouldn't it be an option to sell STLs yourself, especially as a small company?
I mean shipping from the UK actually can be pretty expensive, and take quite a while even to Europe these days. Plus, charming anthropomorphic animals could be attractive to people playing other games as well...
@@geronimo8159 No, that's not an option , really - because we don't have any STLs! I sculpt all the minis by hand, from putty.
But we send minis all around the world; around half our orders are from the US, so thankfully plenty of people are happy to deal with international shipping. :)
