You have to weigh out the pros and cons. I get why someone would buy from the boutique but I just don’t think I could unless it was something very rare and hard to find that I really wanted.
I’ve used leather surgeons - they are great. I rehabbed & reshaped a Chanel jumbo single flap for about $450. IMO - it is totally worth getting pre-loved bags and then rehabbing them. Thanks for this video Amanda!

So funny, I have the exact same bag, same color & paid the same price pre-loved. I do love it but lately I’m feeling like I don’t reach for it as often because of the large size. I’ve been considering selling it & getting a small flap or mini rectangular. If small flap could be worn crossbody I think it would be the absolute perfect bag😍

I think going pre-loved for Chanel is the best route... I’m just trying to get the courage to do so lol that jumbo of yours is perfection! I love the color so much. In regards, to the stacks I think both hands is too much. If you have your watch and stack on the other, that looks best.

Great vlog, I love my chanel jumbo, however I have a double flap and I wish I had the single flap because the extra flap gets in the way when you try to close it. I too purchased it pre loved and only paid $3600... would never pay $6000 ...that's ridiculous

Aren't you worried about the bag getting warped/deformed b/c it doesn't have the double flap? I've seen preloved bags that have been really deformed b/c of use. What are your thoughts. 😁 💜
Not at all! There are tons of single flap style bags out there. It’s all about how to take care of it. I’m very careful not to squish it!

I love my jumbos and double flaps;). As per quiltiness , imho it has nothing to do with quality. All my Chanel Minis and jumbos are different years and MI places and their quilts, matte or shine caviars are all different 😉 great video I love beige Clair GHW😍

I haven’t had any, will definitely share in the future if I do!
For reference I sent my single flap jumbo for a full spa/restructuring and regilding on the hardware and it was $435 total. I believe the regilding was $100.

Just FYI, they are still using real gold plate but do not put the stamp on it because they don't want to be held to put on a certain amount of microns.
I have a Chanel jumbo so black and the money I spent on it I would never do again ! The bag is gorgeous and I can wear it w everything just like yours BUT that Will be my last Chanel bag purchase

Single flaps cost less than double, so it’s not accurate to compare to current retail price of double flap. The price went up significantly when double came out and singles were still being sold in stores.
