These people are artists, and it's wonderful to see the pride, joy, inclusiveness they have in trying to do the best work possible. I love ballet, and the costumes always are a meaningful part of the total experience. Plus, I think the technical behind-the-scenes stuff is tremendously interesting.
Thank you so much for sharing this totally fabulous mini documentary, it truly moved me to tears. In the time of technology and Ai the craft and love is irreplaceable in every sense of the word. God Bless every one . 🙏🏼💙
WAW would be magical visit this dream team one day! thanks to share it with us, is a HUGE inspiration for companys, dancers, teachers around the world! this type of work make ballet more magical and the same time more HUMAN.... THANKS PNB
At our ballet studio I got the opportunity to help out with the costume making and it was a lot of fun. I love getting to wear the amazing costumes on stage especially ones that were custom made to my body. Nutcracker will always be my favorite because of all the pretty costumes and head pieces (I get to wear a purple bow this Nutcracker).
Seems the algorithm is a bit confused. I watch videos about people making things. How they're designed, structured, considerations about being suited to their purpose, techniques for durability, creating visual impact that suits where the audience is viewing it from... Nuanced complicated stuff.
As an indigenous person from southeast Alaska, seeing formline art on the costumes is very moving❤
