I'm gutted that Porthcawl fair is closing down. I have so many happy memories there. I feel sorry for the locals as well as the local shops who this will affect in so many ways. I understand that there is a shortage of housing in the area but the average person would probably not be able to purchase a house so close to a beach. So this will actually defeat the objective of cheap, affordable housing.

A third of the new builds are designated 'affordable housing'. Yes, a massive impact on the whole community regardless.
