A wonderful variety of sounds, soft guitar sound, barely distinguishable from a "real" guitar.....
This is an outstanding feature of this guitar, the "Yamaha Silent Guitar" (here the SLG 130nw, with nylon strings). The proof can be seen here in this video - and especially heard . As sound examples I have selected well known classical music pieces by old masters like Francisco Tárrega, Heitor Villa-Lobos, and Enrique Granados, characterized by romantic emotions.....

I watched this so many times I've lost count. Fingering is perfection. Emotion in each piece is breath taking. I thought about purchasing this guitar but thought it would just end up on a wall with a few other guitars in my collection. After hearing your performance here I went out and purchased it and play it constantly. It took a surprisingly short period to adjust to the lack of a full body...I really thought it would take longer. When I perform I sometimes pull this out and play one or two pieces on it; audiences love it (probably more for the novelty of how it looks than the sound). Again, this has to be one of the best videos on RUclips. Bravo.

I totally agree with you......perhaps there is probably nothing else which can calm you down better, after a hard days work, than listening to wonderful music....lay back, close your eyes, and listen......and the everyday problems will disappear.....at least for a while...

Great playing I ordered the guitar after watching this video and have been playing classical since the day the guitar was delivered. Classical guitar brings out the heart of the person playing it so expressive it's hard to explain and if you don't play you would not know what I'm talking about.

Uwe Loewer Well, the first two are certainly very memorable; but I think it all works great together as a single piece; the order seems just right.
Sergey Kadyrov, Thank you for sharing your opinion. This is very interesting because the first two pieces are probably the most known. There are lots of interpretations, and it is difficult that the way you play is not only average, but different, maybe "special". I'm far from being a “professional”, I'm just a simple casual player. But making music yourself brings relaxation, distance from stress, reflection on feelings and peace. If it adds to the joy of others, it is all the more beautiful. and more valuable. Once again many thanks!

If I may suggest, at this time, I would recommend the new Model Yamaha SLG 200n, even better Sound and more natural bass string sound, and more intense overtones /flageolets, as a result of the new SRT Modeling Sound Amp technique. You'll have the possibility of adding /mixing the real (recorded) Sound of a normal wooden Yamaha Classic guitar, to the pure (but nevertheless good) piezo System, with an amazing result...

I plan to record another guitar piece this year and post it on RUclips. Part of the music, the orchestral accompaniment, has already been recorded. Now the guitar solo has to be recorded. steve gartshore Hi Steve, this is GREAT, and GOOD NEWS for those in a similar situation.....just grab your guitar out of the forgotten corner, and keep on playing, as I do, and surely you will become better day by day.....I am a pure amateur, and did learn only by doing, "try & error", trying to eliminate errors, to become better....it works!

I’m going on holiday to Costa Rica and I’m seriously thinking about buying one of these.
I bought the slg200s (steel string version) 3 weeks ago, exactly for traveling purposes. It‘s been on its first trip to tenerife and i could carry it as hand luggage without any problems or extra cost. The guitar is simply amazing and i can fully recommend it!
I'm so thankful that I'm not so insecure that I need to give people who bring beauty into this world the "Thumbs Down Dislike". If you don't like it you don't have to comment. It's OK. For God's sake man, let somebody LOVE you.
