If you go into the service reset menu (Hold answer call button for 5 seconds or so and press ok) you can then go into roller test mode and turn off esp.
I honestly never checked the STAR but I guess should be possible for such a thing. Even some other coding device probably do it easy. I just follow another video of the coding so I did not investigate it much more.
@@dlang6487 So what you are saying is, that the GPS files are on slow and dated HDD? But if he uses Android multimedia, isn't this like, automatically sorted out?
This install was for a friends W212 2011 model. I still got my silver sedan ☺️

Thank you very much for being here, my friend. I learn a lot from watching your videos.🙌🏻🫶🏻
interestingly enough the regular w212 series was shipped with this button until 2011 (not sure though). i wonder why MB changed this
@@JiRO_040 I heard is was a cost saving decision not sure! But I think it looks quite unfinished without the ESP button.
Can you re- programme it with the genuine STAR machine or only Vediamo?

Have you ever replaced the HDD on the radio (possibly with an SSD)?
Why would he need to do that? (really just a question)
