Is sad to see how Ukraine and Russia are fighting. As a Cuban I knew for many years as a Soviet Union and I had many good memories from there. I had families that studied in Kirovohrad for 5 years and you people and my country were together, many Cubans lived and married with the beautiful girls, we were like one. The Slavic food was on our tables for years. I knew Kyiv by movies and documentaries. For many of us is really sad to see those things that’s happening there.
Now you can see how the music unite countries and cultures. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

This is the first performance on the Singer show in China right after the SOS show that made him famous star over night. He is only 22 years old and his first time for a long stay away from home. You might enjoy his song in Ukrainian "Marigold". His song in Russian "Sinful Passion" is very powerful and amazing. It is a cover of a song by AStudio. He was very young here probably 23 or 24
This was 2017 and Dimash was 22 or so. He may have turned 23 sometime during the competition (13 weeks).
He does quite a few Russian songs : Sinful Passion (Greshnaya Strast), Love Is Like A Dream are a couple of the best.

Fun fact is that Dimash did not know that his Father was in the audience, and after he sang the song, then he sees his Father and they give such a heart warming embrace! It was so sweet! Yes, Dimash was younger here. This was a talent show in China. His voice is just out of this world!
Most sopranos would be jealous to get as high as he can get. I believe that top note was A♭6, a minor sixth higher than the standard top note of a soprano (C6).

This song belongs to the Ukrainian- Russian vocal clown Vitas. However, they forgot to ask Vitas. The people who hold the rights sued Chinese TV... unfortunately too late. The Chinese had already put it online and so it is on the Internet forever.
Vitas (Vitaly Vladasovich Grachev, *1979 Latvian SSR is a Ukrainian- Russian pop singer who mainly sings in Russian. He is also a composer, actor and fashion designer. He claimed that by the age of 12 he had composed at least 1,000 songs.🤣

He was only 23 here, this is the second episode of the same Chinese show where his first performance was SOS. He looks different because he dressed the part for the song; he has 'wind-blown' hair, which makes him look careless or disheveled, which makes him seem childish. He is also unabashedly FLIRTING with the audience.
At least, that's my theory as to why he seems younger here. :)
