Not 30 seconds but still good. The best is the runic sword farm, but you have to beat the elden beast for that. Its the fastest way to get runes hands down. 300k a minuteish in newgame plus with gild scarab and no fowl foot(fowl foot isnt really worth it for that method)
Then jumping off the wall is best. Still need to get to moghwyn palace;) and definitely use golden fowl foot too for jump as the time between makes it worth it.

You’ll see like twenty of those weird frog guys sleeping so you can’t miss it. Beware of gigantic skeleton that pops out of the ground like a mini boss on the way there first time though lol
Once you get the rhythm down, the giant bird farm accessible via Varre seems a lot more efficient. Not to mention if you're up to Liurnia you'd have access to it as well. It's literally get up, shoot bird with arrow, rest Very quick

There is ABSOLUTELY no way that first jump is possible now...i got a lucky sprint on the horse off and PERFECTLY double jumped and was still 6 ft away, tried again and i went through the ledge 3 times in a row and died just as i would jumping off anywhere else
Played a month after release, never picked up the character again, it's frozen in 437 level, I just played NG+ till that level without much farm, just runes from bosses

It's what I call "the suicide bird farm" at Mohgwyn Palace (Dynasty Mausoleum Entrance site of grace). All you do is: 1. Use a gold foul foot and gold scarab. 2. walk the edge of the cliff closest to the grace. 3. Shoot the bird behind the tree down below with an arrow. 3. Bird jumps of the cliff and kills himself. 4. Run back to site of grace and repeat. The gold foul foot will stay activated. I aim at the foot at the right side at his foot so it's quicker. It only takes 3-6 seconds each time. It's the easiest rune farm I've done so far. There's an invisible wall in the tree branches that patched it a while back, but all you need to do is aim it toward his foot on the right side. It still works and is just as fast as before the patch.

There is a way easier version of this in moghwynn palace, white masks quest is not hard at all, and on journey 1, will get u 150k every time before rune boosts
These ledge jump "rune farm" videos are all so scammy and clickbaity. The trick is always nigh impossible to pull off, or it takes forever, or you get a big chunk of runes one time and then never again, it's always something and they never add up in the end. The only best rune farm in Elden Ring according to MATH is going to Palace Approach Ledge Road where the boring bird farm is, then using a weapon like the Sacred Relic Sword to kill all the albinaurics with one swing, and you do that repeatedly. In NG+ you get around 75k every 20 seconds or so, it always works, it's blindingly simple, and as far as we know, it's _objectively_ the best rune farm. Opinions don't matter, this is based on math.
Ps4 my friend and I just item dupe using cloud storage. We can start with a level 150ish character and just about every weapon you could want. Just remember to keep non upgraded versions of weapons
So I have been successful about a half dozen times to get this to work, however I only received 10,000-20,000 runes. I started at zero. I understand this is a glitch but does the runes scale based on how much you have at the time? What else makes a difference on how much runes you receive?
What is the best ruin farm that doesn't involve glitch outside of the map and swinging your sword? I like the idea of these ruin farm BUT they seem very very cheap and exploitive. The best I found is shooting the bird in moghwyn dynasty that runs of the edge give you 11k ruins without any talisman or golden pickled fowl foot.
The moghwyn area is the best as far as I’ve found or seen. If you wanna get really high level on it, I recommend using the sword you get from the Elden remembrance. It’s weapon art makes it very fast. Can clear the whole hill with one attack. Worth a respec if you’re not using a faith build

it is explained, the first one method is useless cause it give like nothing and it kill a npc with a quest but the second at mohgwyn is safe and u get like 130k+ runes it depends on ur journey. for sure farming with relic sword is faster but the second one is safe and fast for player that haven't finished the game yet
Your titles are always so misleading. You wont get 300k runes on a regular NG. You should put in the title the actual amount of runes you get on NG and not on NG+ and so on.

I don't see how this is faster...I'm on NG+ 7 & the og NPC farm is faster than jumping off map. I get 180k in like 20-30secs just by farming og spot. Is it tedious, of course but way more affective than doing all these off map jumps

There’s a weapon he uses you can get to make it easier. It did for me. At agheel lake south grace you’ll see what looks like a pond. Go to that grace then go up the hill. There you’ll have to beat the same boss but he gives you his bleed weapon. It’s worth the suffering.
Love seeing the comments flood with how long it takes them to perfect or never land the jump and die or the ppl saying they do it and get like 6k runes when you can kill the 20 albinaurics way faster and gain way more runes faster than trying to run up a cliff and fall for 5 minutes to get barely anything lol.
These glitches aren’t better bang for buck when put against the wave of gold. Way better return! Slam through the first game and get that sword then one swing gets you 100k. Repeat in seconds.

Soooo much faster once you have the option. But most of these are catered towards newer players that haven’t entered NG yet.

The bird glitch on the palace approach ledge road has been around since it's been out. It's a little more grindy, but still worth it in my opinion.

This area, specifically, is called Mohgwyn Dynasty Colosseum, the area where the boss fight is called Mohgwyns Palace!
