6:39 Slight addendum: I misinterpreted that bit, each character seeing different things based on who they are, rather than the Scaphe's design being the inspiration for the Round Things- its actually just the Process' egg. Apparently, an origins story for the Round Things is a step too far for a Who nerd... until my next Spragg entry, of course

This was the first Doctor Who New Adventure I read. I did a book report on it in high school.

I had these books. Sold them on ebay. Do not regret it at all.

This is the book that tricked me out of reading the NAs. I did both Timewyrm and Cats Cradles arcs years ago, and even tho I loved Revelation and Warhead whenever I thought about the NAs the overwhelming memories of this dense waffle.
Started reading them again from Nightshade last year, after having done about half the EDAs and all the missing adventures and by god is this one an outlier. It feels hostile to the reader in a way that feels antithetical to Doctor Who for me.
Could be just my tastes i guess, but it hardly makes me look forward to Lungbarrow when i get there (Ive paused reading them again after Set Piece so I fully expect to hit Lungbarrow sometime in 2070)

3:53 Woah woah woah. It's Moffat and Thompson who are the hacks, clearly.

Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS exists on the other side of the Mercury Stream. Marc Platt saw the episode in the future THEN wrote the novel

@@thevacuumofcomments2946 btw, did you see Moffat's comments about a British West Wing? I'm, like, at full mast.

Got about halfway through it a while back (stopped cause I wanted to tackle the EDAs from the beginning) so I don't imagine it'll completely shock me. I have at least gotten to THAT reveal and have heard more by word of mouth

Cats in the cradle and the silver spoon. Great video but review One Piece soon.
When you gonna do it? I ask you Ben, I'll call you a hack again
