We view it as history, but the truth is, to the locals of nara, it isn’t. It just looked like a waste of space. And frankly, it was. Just because we thought it should’ve stayed means little. Appartments were made there, which is more functional and important for people and families than a rotting in their eyes, abandoned theme park. As much as the idea of dreamland still existing sounds good, but realistically it isn’t.

Jose Lito technically Disney had a hand in creating dreamland as nara Disneyland, but backed out at last minute, thus the Disney inspired theme.
